Spurs lose again, Rockets only 1 game behind
March 9th, 2008by John
The Suns beat the Spurs on Sunday, which gives San Antonio its second loss in a row.
The Rockets are now only 1 game behind the Spurs. If Houston beats New Jersey Monday night and the Spurs lose to Denver, then they’ll be tied!
I know there’s still a long way left with 20 games remaining, but it’s still kind of cool to watch the standings. The standings below will change later tonight (Sunday) when Sacramento plays the Lakers in LA. They’ll either add a 1/2 game on everybody if they win, or lose a 1/2 game if they get shocked by the Kings.
I still love the beauty of the ‘18′ in Houston’s win streak column compared to everyone else’s! Amazing!

I am looking forward to seeing how far this team can go in the playoff. They have good attitude now. They have some guys to play Yao’s role, though they are far from as good as Yao, at least in this year. TMAC, Scola and Alston play the main roles in offense. This team have some shortcomings but it have chance in the playoff.
The only bad thing is it will be a system which Yao can not fit in. They have to adjust it again next season. -_______-

Rockets won agian tonight against NJ wivh make it 19 in a row. They should win the next two games. After that, the following five games are against playoff teams which they could possibly lose all fives and drop out of the playoff. That is the Western Conference. You be on top one day, lose several games and be out of the playoff. So, enjoy this run while it lasts!
