So after surpassing Phoenix Sun to be #10 in the Western Conference, the Houston Rockets will play against a visiting Boston Celtics.

Currently, the Rockets is only 1 game away from Utah Jazz and 2 games away from Memphis Grizzlies, but only 13 games remain for them.

So the margin for error is getting smaller and smaller, and every game will have to be played like it is in the playoff.

This is the 2nd time both team meet. The Rockets sprung a surprise when they beat the Celtics 108 ~ 102 on January 10 in Boston.

And for this game, the Celtics will definitely want to win to avoid a clean sweep by the Rockets, as well as to maintain their #1 position in the Eastern Conference.

SO GO GO GO ROCKETS !!! GO FOR A WIN AND A CLEAN SWEEP OF THE CELTICS !!!

1H ended. Houston Rockets led Boston Celtics by 22 points !!!! 62 ~ 40.

The Rockets played a great first half, carving out first a 6 point lead (28 ~ 22) in 1Q, then limited the Celtics to score only 18 points but scored 34 points themselves to be leading 62 ~ 40 by half time.

Luis Scola did not play in 1H as he was still nursing his left knee even though he had resumed training yesterday.

Kevin Martin (19 points) and Kyle Lowry (16 points) combined for 35 points in 1H.

Let's hope the Rockets continue to play the kind of offense and defense they played in 1H in 3Q, and put this game away beyond the reach of the Celtics by end of 3Q.

3Q ended. 81 ~ 56, Rockets led by 25 points.

The Rockets continued to play tough defense, and contained the Celtics to score at a very poor 41% FG% and 16% 3-pointer%.

They are out-scoring, out-rebounding, out-assisting, out-blocking the Celtics and had even fewer turnovers.

2 more Rockets reached double digit scoring in 3Q. Both Chuck Hayes (11 points/11 rebounds) and Patrick Patterson (12 points/10 rebounds) got their well deserved double-doubles.

A 9 ~ 2 run by the Celtics to reduce the deficit to 18 points in the first 3 minutes of 4Q.

Rick Adelman called for a time out, and sent back the red hot Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin.

93 ~ 77 WIN !!!! :P :P :P

The Rockets played rather relaxed in 4Q, as the Boston Celtics started to clear their bench 4 to 5 minutes into 4Q, and the 25-point hole by end of 3Q was JUST TOO BIG for the Celtics to climb out of.

Kevin Martin scored 25 points to be followed by Kyle Lowry with 20 points/9 assists.

But the heroes were the interior players of Chuck Hayes (11 points/11 rebounds), Patrick Patterson (18 points/12 rebounds/3 block shots) and Jordan Hill (6 points/9 rebounds/1 block shot). They completely shut out their Celtics counterparts (Kevin Garnett, Nenad Krstic, Glen Davis, Jeff Green, Troy Murphy).

So with this win, the Rockets completed the clean sweep of Boston Celtics, and improved to 36W 34L.

LOL, why do you hate Kyle Lowry?

Give credit where credit is due. The Rockets win had a lot to do with Kyle Lowry.

I thought Pryuen didn't like Brooks, or maybe he doesn't like any of the Rox guards. Oh, he did like Smith though.

Unlike your constant hate and dislike of Yao Ming, WHERE AND WHEN did I express HATRED of Kyle Lowry??? :?:

Ever since last season, I'm ALREADY a STRONG ADVOCATE for the Rockets to start Kyle Lowry in lieu of Aaron Brooks.
