| China won 87:80. Zhang Kai totally schooled the Memphis frontcourt to the tune of 20pts in his first CNT game. |

He also had 10 rebounds with those 20 points.
Zhang Kai gets too much criticism for being a twig, but bottom line is he can ball. He has a nose for the ball, thats his asset, how ever many points he scores is a bonus, but the dude can rebound. With Yao out, MoKe out, he has plenty of opportunity to get playing time, I have a feeling Jonas will like him. |

| Seems like coach K is still gonna rely heavily on vets like Liu Wei. I am not sure if this is a good sign for CNT. |

Even majority of the guangdong fans agree Liu Wei is the best PG the CNT has.
Zhu Fangyu seems have improved his handle.

I don't disagree with your comment. However I don't think CNT will trouble any of the major powers with Liu Wei as the PG. One of the younger guys, probably Chen Jianghua needs to be able to step up and play a major role at the Olympics if CNT are to make the top 8 and beyond. |
