Voice your opinion on who JVG will be letting go from this past season's roster. Keep in mind contract constraints that make some players virtually untradeable.

Steve Francis is more of a liability then an asset for the Rockets.

I say trade him for Bibby or a big bruiser at the power forward position.

Yao needs another 25 lbs in his frame. Get some meat into this guy!

what have yall got against stevie francis? didn't anyone see how good he was playing in the first few games? he is really talentd, but the rockets just have to move him to the SG spot and let Cat come off the bench, they can find a mediocre PG in the off season, and they will be so much better. in my point of view, if Yao played as good as Steve or Cat during the series, they wouldn't be out by now. Trading Francis for Mike Bibby? that will set the rockets backwards, Mike Bibby is a solid player, but talent wise, he is not even close to Stevie. What the rockets need is an unselfish PG, I think Eric Snow would fit in better the Bibby.

if the rockets can trade Jim Jackson plus a role player of draft pick for Darius Miles, they will benefit a lot from it. The Rockets have enough shooters, they don't really need Jim Jackson. Miles is a better defensive player and his all-around play will certainly help the rockets.

either francis or mobley needs to go.

i say francis is pretty solid, and he knows he needs yao to win. the problem is he doesnt really get along with van gundy imo.

mobley is a chucker....his bricks go in sometimes..but most of the time, i think we are all left shouting at the tv "PASS THE DAMN BALL TO YAO".

trade mobley for eric snow. although o'brien said he would keep snow, but i think sixers will consider to trade him & mckie due to their big contracts.

SF should be traded becoz he's unlikely to improve his decision making and passing ability. (he's too old and too arrogant to improve his bball IQ)
for those who argue he had a wonderful series against lakers. i agree, he did has a great series, but that doesn't mean anything. remember Austin Croshere? for those who argue SF is such an all around player, i don't think rox really need his rebounding ability.

trade SF + someone for ray allen and lewis(anyone knows how big his contract?) allen's been on trade rumour for a long time and he's a reliable shooter. lewis is a 3 point pf who can draw opponet's pf out and hence prevent opponents' pf from dbl teaming yao.

SF can't pass. his 6-assist is deceiving. he missed a lot of chances when yao actually got his position, maybe just for 1 second, which is enough for a good pg. SF can't catch the timing.

What the Rockets Need More than anything else is a true Power Foward that can score and help Yao more than Cato. If I were the Rockets...I'd trade Cato for someone with more scoring punch..I'd get a Veteran with a simliar salary and put him in. The guards? Well Francis is an All Star, Mobley has a really high three point percentage. Don't really see Francis going anywhere anytime soon or Mobley. But I do see Mo Taylor, Piakowski, and Cato being shuffled off somewhere else.
