He scored 40 pts in a game but still couldn't help Ducks win. He must be really disappointed.

An abandoned NBA veteran and journey man can score 40 in CBA, perhaps I can score 20 too.

You know he spent a year rehabbing from this, right? And played a full season in the NBA afterwards? What indication do you have that he can't jump as high as before?

I think the reason he gets so vulnerable is the travelling. As a journey man, he has been travelling across the country and even Canada. Switching teams once a year for eight years, no players can afford it. He'll finally run out of gas.

He's more and more like this guy now, Lin Chih-chieh. Taiwanese player just retiring from CBA.

Yes, he's a great player, a top scorer in the league, but his team never win a championship. :(

Lin scores 40

I see a bunch of Chinese characters. Quality of video looks amatuerist. Was this a preseason game?

Or maybe, he's another Monke Bateer, a NBA journey man with a ring back to China with his home still in USA. He will help Ducks to the next level, but not the level fans anticipate.....

BTW, Monke has diabetes now. He's skinny like a horse...

And if China/Beijing pay $3M and still can't work out, they will abandon you as well...

This thread seems DEAD. He's been forgotten already.
Unless he can win some championships instantly like Marbury and shock NBA, he is GONE.
But from what he showed us so far, like blocked by some Chinese players, it's unlikely gonna happen. Remember it took Marbury THREE years to get his status back and win a championship. CBA has a lot of politics too.
He used to be compared with Kemba Walker when he played for Harvard and Charlotte. But they two are heading towards totally two different directions. Kemba is gonna lead Celtics to the Finals this yr and may win MVP....

U idiot directs hoot.

No one here gives a sht about the NBA anymore. There is also no reason to post on english forum if you don't watch the NBA.

If you had half a brain you would realize that Asian Players in the NBA drove traffic on this site.

The people that watch Lin in CHINA wouldn't post here. They have their own CBA sites they can chat on.

NBA might lose up to 20% of their revenue because of the BAN in China... Imagine if Lin made a statement that NBA and Harvard is racist against Chinese and Asian people? Also, HKers calling Lebron an Orangutan and low IQ.

NBA is a profit sharing league. LOL, pay cut for everyone.

The NBA is cruel and very realistic. When they see you, as a journey man, injure multiple times and tell the world in front of the camera that you are DONE, then they will drop you without doubt. This is pure BUSINESS.

Yao is about the same. His career finally ended with injuries. When you are injured as a Pro, your market value will straightly go down like a personal stock downfall.Hope he won't hurt anymore in CBA.

He's a little bit different with Marbury. Marbury was still at his prime time when he was kicked out of the league. He lost his father and got involved in the scandal with NY Knicks and Thomas. But he was still healthy and able to play.
