It's DOUBLE OR TRIPLE HAPPINESS for Ding Yan Yuhang !!!
First he led his Shandong High Speed Golden Stars team to advance into the playoff, edging out Beijing Capital Steel Ducks.
Second he will be DEFINITELY chosen as CBA MVP of local players for the regular season, as his closest competitor Yi Jianlian failed to make one of the 2 deciding criteria of the competition, as he just played 29 games instead of the MINIMUM 30 games in the regular season.
Third, it was reported today that Dallas Mavericks had extended an invitation to Ding Yan Yuhang to join their training this summer, and if he comes out of the training camp successfully, he will play for Dallas Mavericks in the Summer League in July time frame.
So AT LEAST FIRST STEP OUT for the young lad Ding Yan Yuhang to play in basketball's highest platform !!!

YOU FVCKING CLUELESS IDIOOOOOOOOOT !!!
Ding Yan Yuhang had played 35 games out of the 38 games in the current season.
He missed ONLY 3 games due to sickness (fever and stomach problems), SURELY NOT a sprained ankle that will take weeks for recuperation/rehabilitation.

Isn't training camp before the preseason but after the Summer league games?
I would think he gets to play in Summer league games and if he does well, then he goes to training camp?

It is about a 2 week training together with Dallas Mavericks summer league team. If he performs and fits in satisfactory, then Ding Yan Yuhang will officially play for Dallas Mavericks in the summer league.

ANOTHER LAME ATTEMPT to BACK-PEDAL from that ******* of yours that Ding Yan Yuhang came back from injury in this current season.
If he had suffered a slightly sprained ankle and pulled muscle, he probably would have to sit out MORE THAN 3 CONSECUTIVE MATCHES. Take the example of Yi Jianlian. He pulled his muscle, absent for the CBA All Stars, was sent to Hong Kong for treatment, and had to be sidelined for more than 6 games (i.e. 2 weeks) and therefore missed the 30 game benchmark to qualify for MVP competition.
As I've told you Ding Yan Yuhang was DNP in 3 games spread over the season, due to high fever and stomach problem/diarrhea. If it was a slightly sprained ankle or pulled muscle, Shandong High Speed Golden Stars' medical staff won't risk him, cos with his playing style, that is he kept running/penetrating the lane/changed direction, he would DEFINITELY AGGRAVATED his ankle and muscle if he persisted to play under pain.

You are not Ding's trainers or coaches, so you do not his day to day injuries. Again, nice comeback from a sprained ankle.

wahahahahaha, both Wang zhelin and Zhou Qi have higher efficiency ratings than this Ding guy. Maybe he just hogs the ball more, like Steve Francis.
