FINALLY !!!
There were so little stories/photos about the recent trip to Africa of Yao Ming.
Finally managed to scoop the stories and TONS of photos of Big Yao in Kenya with the elephants and rhinos.
Remember the tiny elephant orphan Kinango toddling beside Yao Ming a year ago???

Big Yao purposefully revisited The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the elephant orphanage in Kenya on September 14, hoping to see Kinango again.
But he was saddened to find out Kinango had died of loneliness just shortly after his visit last year.

[size=109] Last year, photos of me next to tiny baby elephant Kinango went viral. He was so tiny he looked like he had been shrunk and photoshopped in next to me, a perfect miniature of his elders, but sadly he was just too small and traumatized to survive without his mother and passed away shortly after my last trip. I learned that it is all too common for the very young to lose their will to live after their mother and sometimes whole herd have been brutally taken from them. The caretakers have to sleep in the small elephants

So instead Yao Ming made new acquaintences with another baby elephant orphan Komak during this trip to the elephant orphanage.
He took tour of the orphanage and fed the baby elephant Komak before leaving.

Does Yao Ming bring with him some body guards or security against wild animals? In some countries there are safety issues.
