Check out some interesting stories about coach Ben Howland and especially Kyle Anderson, their new recruit from NJ. Kyle's mother side of the family is actually Chinese (?), who immigrated to Jamaica and then NY.

And the Bruins just thrashed Beijing Tsinghua University with a winning margin of 48 points yesterday......116 ~ 68.

Kyle Anderson scored a double-double of 11 points/13 rebounds and 6 assists.

Their point guard Tyler Lamb also had a double-double of 14 points/10 assists.

4 other Bruins
were in double digit scoring: Norman Powell: 19 points; Josh Smith: 18 points. The Wear Brothers who transferred from North Carolina Tar Heels also did well: David Wear had a double-double of 22 points/15 rebounds while Travis Wear contributed 19 points.

The Bruins was even without their top recruit: USA #1 centre and future NBA prospect Shabazz Muhammad; Muhammad did not make the China trip cos he is currently under NCAA investigation for possible Infractions/improper benefits.

UCLA Bruins completed their sweep, demolished Yao Ming's Shanghai MAXXIS Sharks 92 ~ 63 last night (August 28 ) in Shanghai Yuan Shen Sports Center for their 3rd win in as many games in their China tour.

Shanghai MAXXIS Sharks fielded a full Chinese roster, without expats, and their 2 national team members, Liu Wei and Max Zhang Zhaoxu. They also gave debuts to some of the young players they promoted from their junior team, as well as new players who have joined the team from other CBA teams.

But they were simply no match to the physical strong plays of the fast and lightning UCLA Bruins.

The game was so loopsided with UCLA Bruins leading from the start that the fans in Shanghai Yuan Shen Sports Center were chanting Yao Ming's name to urge Big Yao to come on court to play.

Yao Ming and his parents were there in the stadium, and so were Max Zhang Zhaoxu and Caron Butler of LA Clippers who travelled to Shanghai after his NBA Cares initiatives in Sichuan. Big Yao was seen chatting with Larry Scott, former Chairman and CEO of Woment Tennis Association Tour, and current Commissioner of Pac-12 NCAA in the stands; he was also the guest of honor to present the Bruins with their trophy, and the Bruins gathered for a team photo with Big Yao afterwards.

YEAH ALMOST DEFINITE SURE that you can either become a custodian of the drinking machine passing out Gatorade or other drinks to CBA ballers during breaks, or as you're SUCH A CLOWN, you can become a mascot for any CBA teams and get your @$$ kicked from the back by the players.
