w the help of google, turd chin is pretending to be an expert on mainland Chinese
just like he had pretended to be an expert on LA

temuchin wrote:
first of all Chinese are very xenophobic, suspicious, with tremendous insecurities and corruption. you need someone who can appease the insecurities and navigate the cultural insularity.
again, you 've parroting what you've read without knowing wtf ur talking about

no one nationality is more xenophobic/suspicious/corrupt than the Japanese, followed by SK.

it's laughable for someone who has never travel abroad to parrot such nonsense

temuchin wrote:
american companies dont really know the difference between "asian" and "chinese"
nor do the So. Americans, Europeans and other non-Asians

temuchin wrote:
many chinese are very scared of other asians
another eg of the ignorant one parroting without knowing wtf he is talking about.

temuchin wrote:
....rather slit their throats/screw themselves than go into business with a korean, viet, SE Asian, Japanese, indian or even someone from another region
another parroting job; as if others (non-Chinese) act any differently

temuchin wrote:
Taiwanese are better than HK because HK are used to doing business under Western (british) rule during this period the early 90s.
roflmao

HK folks have been doing business with the mainland since the 1960 /70s.

think before you parrot

temuchin wrote:
.... HKers didn't know how to do all the corrupt things, payoffs, cultivation of officials that is the most important part of doing business in the mainland.
  the dizzying height of ignorance; HK folks have been doing business with the mainland since the 1960 /70s.

eg, HKer Gordon Wu's Hopewell Holdings had been dealing w the Mainlanders on infrastructure projects since the 1970s

Taiwan didn't start to do business with the Mainland until much later

temuchin wrote:
.... these aren't my observations but if you read any books by Westerners
translation, turd chin is a parrot pretending to know mainland Chinese

temuchin wrote:
.... Sam Su himself is a huge deal in the US.
frankly, in the US, more people know about the likes of ZZW, Yi Jilian, JLin than Sam Su. there is no comparison
temuchin wrote:
Chinese like chicken better than beef
yet another parroting job without knowing wtf he is talking about

while the Chinese like both beef and chicken, the crunchiness / taste / flavor of the fried chicken are more in tune with the Chinese palate than the 'grilled" hamburger patty.

So, when you chose to flip McBurgers for a living...I guess it was to intentionally distance yourself from your Chinese heritage and work your way up into Lower America?

hmm key member of KFC's own strategy committee writes book, says having Taiwanese helped KFC...

hmmm longtime China bureau chief for the Wall Street Journal and expert in China and business writes book on 20 years of observation in China says Taiwanese have certain advantages...

but but Moranus says no.

lol Moranus can't even distinguish what I wrote from what pryuen wrote about Chinese (and Chinese food historians have said) about the Chinese eating chicken but what's even funnier is that Moranus is basically the chinese trailer park equivalent of nig. I'm talking about educated people who have been to business school or do business in China knowing about Su's groundbreaking work in China and this asshole can't even CONCEIVE of that world. it's so far from his french fries and denzel movies that he's shocked SHOCKED that people would know him... as opposed to WZZ, wrestlers, LA Lakers, and other low brow crap he lives with. Moranus can't even look through that CURTAIN to first class lmfao.

Moranus, if you're going to cut and paste quotes shouldn't you try to at least make a point. other than you're a ****** imbecile?

try READING and maybe you'll learn something. I'm talking about these specific books written by these specific authors and Moranus is talking about google which he can't even use.

seriously do you even understand 1 paragraph of what was written? lol typing about south americans and gordon wu. lol?

the stupidest part is that Moranus is pissed at the idea of TAIWANESE, ie another REGION OF CHINA, having an advantage. that's the part he's butthurt about. the sociological, political and economic implications of what expert observers have observed about doing business as a multinational in China goes over his head. HE'S JUST ANGRY THAT THEY THINK TAIWANESE MIGHT HAVE SOME ADVANTAGE. the truly sad part is that his ENTIRE POST is simply reinforcing what I wrote about Chinese being jingoistic and biased towards ppl outside their region (let alone another race or asian ethnicity)

Moranus. you are truly deserving to be lead troll on YMM. no matter how others try you set the bar for pwning yourself with your own posts

as usual he's just an imbecile.

first of all he's pissed pryuen said chinese eat chicken. because Moranus is obsessed with hamburgers being an "american" food. just that IDEA somehow shames him

...so Moranus has to rail about chicken versus beef if he has absolutely no clue what he's talking about.

but of course being Moranus he can't even keep straight WHO said what about chinese palates.

second, the KFC CHICKEN itself is universal. it's not the chicken versus beef that's the distinguishing factor its EVERY SINGLE OTHER THING. Moranus doesn't even know what localization means.

when you're talking about LOCALIZATION for KFC it's stuff like congee for breakfast, preserved eggs, tofu wraps and other things that appeal to Chinese. Every single other person is talking about localization for KFC leading to its success. and Moranus insists it's the FRIED CHICKEN that makes KFC unique? I mean Moranus picks the ONE THING that is consistent... the CRUNCHY FRIED CHICKEN and points to it as the distinguishing factor. lol? no that's just moranus being moranus.

yes. par for the course. HE HAS 10 OPTIONS AND MORANUS SOMEHOW MANAGES TO PICK THE ONE WRONG THING

the basic formula for success for KFC is providing a Western experience for the Chinese palate.

just in 1 post Moranus has managed to SPECIFICALLY pick every possible wrong thing and insist upon it. I mean chicken versus beef, culturally is a no brainer. if Moranus even know 1 thing about China it wouldn't even be debatable. but he's not only DEBATING he's claiming the opposite.

WHY Dr. Moranus had to come out of his den ALL OF A SUDDEN???

REASON IS SIMPLE:
to take a sniper shot at Temuchin !!!

You're an IDIOT. YOU'RE THE ONE that had NO FVCKING IDEA of what you're talking about.

Having worked in China since the early 80s, I can tell you that the Taiwanese were, are and will be MUCH BETTER than Hong Konger in dealing with the Chinese for the reasons that Temuchin gave. Compared to the more sophisticated Taiwanese, Hong Kongers are kindergarteners in relationship building and in the DARK SIDE of the trade.

If you look around in all those big US corpoations, the Taiwanese are occupying high executive places. Just to give you some examples:

  • Tim Chen Yongzheng: CEO, Motorola China, Microsoft Greater China Region, NBA China
  • Dr. Lee Kai-fu: Google China (2005 ~ 2009)
  • Terry Gou: FOXCONN
  • Samuel Su: Chairman and CEO of YUM Restaurants China at Yum! Brands Inc.
The list just goes on and on........

If the Hong Kong professionals are better, then WHY do you think most US corporations hire Taiwanese as their top executives for China???

Sometimes I REALLY wonder whether Dr. Moranus lives in another planet.

He claimed he is the owner of a McDonald franchise, and YET he had not heard about Sam Su, one of the BIGGEST names in the QSR business.

(I WON'T BE SURPRISED IF Dr. Moranus doesn't know the meaning of QSR and FSR)

[size=117]The guy is GOD to Yum! Brand. [color=darkred]He brought close to 50% of revenue and profit to Yum! from his China operations.

And his empire in China is fastly expanding from the QSR market to encompass the FSR market by successfully acquiring Little Sheep 小肥羊, the Chinese operator or franchisor of 480 Little Sheep Mongolian

Moranus doesn't even know what the discussion is about. nevermind making a cogent counterpoint, the entire argument about why AMERICAN MULTINATIONALS prefer Taiwanese goes over Moranus's head. he literally doesn't even know what the ****** we're talking about. why so many multinationals hire Taiwanese, specifically for China, especially in contrast to HKers. he's off talking about Gordon Wu building bridges lol

HE'S A MORANUS. THIS IS WHAT HE DOES. nig's purpose is to be butthurt about China. moranus' is to be self-loathing and bring some old world ethnic and regional hate onto this forum. he doesn't even know what anyone is talking about. his only purpose is to be butthurt about Taiwan and attack people on the thread.

Moranus what part of discussing the content of 2 specific books do you not understand? the funny part is how these trolls build on each other to combine to make their posts even more pitiful. nig cried about me USING GOOGLE to list out the past 25 #1 draft picks and now Moranus is crying about me using google when I'm talking about observations made in a book written by a key insider of KFC's foray into China.

Moranus I'm talking about ****** that LIU wrote and that McGregor wrote about China. wtf are you talking about google? you dont even know who is saying what or what the discussion is. just lol.

actually, if either of you or nig could use google to improve your posts that would be the a step up. but you trollish imbeciles can't even use google. you are too stupid to even do that. because you dont even have the basic knowledge to know what to look up. seriously how could you have the BRAINPOWER to use google to list out 25 #1 draft picks when you dont even have the basic NBA knowledge to know what the proper expectations for a #1 pick is? how could you even google Sam Su if you dont know who the ****** he is or know that KFC is successful in China.

to start nig would have to even BE COGNIZANT of how stupid his assertion is, that Yao was a bad #1 pick for not bringing multiple championships to Houston, to even begin to use google to list out all the #1 picks to hammer his point... he would have to KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT BASKETBALL to know that only ONE number 1 pick in modern history has done that. he's too STUPID to even know where to begin with his argument

likewise you would have to even have HEARD OF SAM SU to google him. and this isn't some esoteric information. Su is literally a business hero around the world for what he's done in China. Not only is he mentioned in countless books about business in China and in case studies but he gives talks ALL THE TIME at top business schools and companies all over the world. but living in your chinese delivery man's world you dont know Su from Sun.

just lol. seriously you posted 2x and you just owned yourself more completely than anyone else could have.

So LINSANITY continues in Guangzhou.

It was ABSOLUTE CHAOS at the Baiyun International Airport.
Hundreds of Jeremy's fans were waiting there for hours in the afternoon. His plane was supposedly to arrive around 17:45 pm, but due to bad weather, it was delayed for almost 3 hours.

Other than a short chat with the press waiting there, Jeremy did not stay long, and left together with Li Qun, the President of Dongguan Basketball School, where Jeremy's basketball camp will be held August 19 to 22.
