The bench players of the Rockets just outshone the starters tonight.
All 5 second tier players played well. 4 of them in double-digit scoring except the bricking Aaron Brooks who got only 5 points with a 2/10 FG%. But Aaron Brooks compensated with organizing the offense well with 7 assists.
Chase Budinger is the top scorer with 22 points/5 rebounds/4 assists. Patrick Patterson showed a flash of his potential with a hard earned double-double: 15 points/10 rebounds/1 block shot; Courtney Lee contributed 12 points/5 rebounds/2 assists; and Brad Miller also scored 11 points/7 rebounds/6 assists.
Only 2 starters were in double-digits; Kevin Martin: 20 points and Luis Scola: 13 points/7 rebounds/2 assists.
So the Rockets bench players stepped up and made ALL THE DIFFERENCE; they outscored the Raptors' bench 65 ~ 23 !!!
