Please vote in support of Yao Ming.

Most of the voters must be korean. Yao Ming is the most famous asian person in the world, he's up there with Bruce Lee, Mao Zedong, mahatma Gandhi,

LMAO why are you people so clueless. I was on another messageboard and all the Japs were bitching that Matsui wasn't winning. They blamed the Koreans. One guy suggested Yao and they all called him Communist and laughed him off the site.

It's obviously Yuna morons. It's not Koreans voting it's the world. No one outside of China gives a ****** about Yao, just like no one gives a ****** about Matsui or Ichiro outside of Japan.

Pacquiao I guess should have more votes but it's because his sport boxing is so unpopular.

Yuna is legitimate and so is Ichiro. It's a popularity contest, you can't argue much reasoning behind it.

Even Matsui who won a world series with the Yankees, hard to argue on his popularity.

Yuna would have the advantage from the women voters and horny old men voters. This is the WSJ right? Not many horny kids read it.

But how much money does Yao make and how much in endorsements does Yao get in comparision to the others. The more in endorsements you get means the bigger the star you are.

China's Guo Jingjing should be the most popular in the world. Guo Jingjing has won way more gold medals than Kim Yuna.

China has 1/5 of the world population, who cares if others don't vote for Yao Ming.

China and Yao Ming are the largest capitalists in the world.

Kim Ya Nu did win the gold medal in the most prestigious event at the recently held Winter Olympics, so she's fresh in everyone's minds.

But to get 66% of the votes is kinda ridiculous

Kim Ya Nu 66%
Manny Pacquiao 12%
Hideki Matsui 8%
Yao Ming 6%
Sachin Tendukar 4%
other 3%

To me the biggest asian sports star is sumo wrestler Akebono. he's huge!!
