It does matter, because you can't let a win to cover all the problems. Clearly, they have a lot of things to work on. Starts with that brain first.

I've already said it many times. Yao and the Rockets need to figure out how to play the 4th quarter. Until they do, they will continue to be in dog fights when they should be blowing the other team and getting some much needed rest. Some of their 3rd quarters since the AS break has been unbelievable. However their 4th quarter is just horrid.

Ugly game.......clutch WIN !!! :P :P :P

Big Yao almost costed the team the W by such a dumb foul.....

But the team displayed some cohesiveness, toughness and tenacity towards the end, protecting the slender lead.

And luckily both Kyle Lowry and Aaron Brooks were clutch in making those 4 free throws at the end.

They should have blown away the Nuggets by end of 3Q; they had a 19 points lead towards the last 3 minutes of 3Q, and those missed free throws......
15 of them !!!

Looks like they will have to spend tomorrow practicing their free throws all day long before playing with LA Lakers.

Those missed FTs almost came back to haunt them. Holy smoke - they ( the missed FTs) were just like a disease - a contagious disease!

It's that concentration and fatigue, that's why.

And probably the thin Denver air too - it seemed to have confused the Rockets players as well. When was the last time Yao and Scola committed so many unnecessary/dump fouls that they both fouled out?

Could be. Lack of oxygen going through their brain, so they couldn't think straight and made dumb mistakes.

I think Rockets needs to adjust the resting time in 3rd and 4th quarter. It appears that not only Yao, but other players too are out of strength in the 4th quarter.

The problem is we get a big lead in the 3rd quarter and we are still playing our starters. we don't switch them out until they are out of breath or got fouls. Then our bench came in and we starting to lose leads.

I sense that Ron Artest and T-Mac don't really get along. Remember how T-Mac said it's ON HIM how far the Rockets go. Anyway, this is from Ron Artest after the Nuggets game.
