Yi still struggling to get his form back since the injury. He did have 3 block shots tonight but was in foul trouble for much of the game. |

Yea but you rarely see Scola do that. |

A RARE double-handed dunk from Luis Scola !!! 20 points/16 rebounds for him !!!
So 3 players scoring over 20 points (Carl Landry, Luis Scola, Yao Ming), 5 players with double-digit scoring, and 2 players with 20/10s !!!
GREAT WIN after a hesitant start against a young, athletic, qucik run-and-gun team !!! |

Yea hopefully he gets his form back and turn into that potential 20/10 that may push them into the playoffs. |

well, at 6'9 of course he can. But I wouldn't be surprised if he has trouble dunking the ball from a standstill position. I imagine the only NBA players that can't dunk are the 6'0-6'1 Pgs like Steve Blake and Luke Ridnour. |

Before the injury it look like he was making strides. However he has just gone back to square 1 since then. There's not much joy watching him struggling the way he is at the moment. |

it is so funny you guys fight all the time.. yao ming is only human and a great team player.. i dont think he wants to score 40 points and get 20 rebound a game for the to win.. he just wants to win.. you can see when if socla and yao were fighting for the rebound.. yao just give it up to socla....
or just to anyone... he doesnt care about the number much...
beside.. yao ming has a better base.. if he wants to be a good rebounder.. he need to build his upper strength... |

He sure could improve his upper body strength, but that's not the only factor as far as rebounding goes. Yao is lacking that lateral quickness, which he won't get much quicker than he already is at this stage of his career. He also has slower reaction compare to most players. I will give you one example, how many opening tips has he won in general? It seems to me most teams beat him at the opening tip even though Yao has the height advantage. In addition, Yao doesn't have the greatest hands either, he fumbles too much. |
