Yao could go 1-20 and pry would have an excuse for every one of the misses.

So what is your excuse for TMAC to be laying bricks the whole night to come up with 10/32 FG% 3/10 3-pointer% 2/5 FT% ? That stat line stinks !!!

Let's see... Tmac is not injrued.... hnmmm.. only reason I can think of is Yao.. Yes Yao was the reason that Tmac stunk up tonight! How's that pry?

i don't think anyone on the board is known for making excuses for tmac.....but i do know a number of people that is known to make excuses for yao, yi, wangzhizhi and liu wei. of course they are different people

According to the Houston Chronicle Tmac was favoring a sore calf muscle all night. Hope he won't miss any games :(

This is just the first game Yao came back from injury. He has missed 11 weeks and only had one practice before this game. It really needs time for Yao to get back into shape and regain his shooting touch and rythum....and to gel into the present chemistry of the team......

actually, Yao did pretty well in this very first game: 16 pts, 11 rebs, 2 asts, 2 blks but he really needed to cut down his turnovers.........hope Yao could perform better next week vs. Celtics

Yao played O.K., considering this is his first game back from injury.
What sucks are the referees. How do they define a foul? It seems they have different definitions for different players. It seems that if someone stared at Lebron or Wade, he would get called for a foul. And if someone tackles Yao, it would be called a steal. Go figure.
