| He'll be ok, just maybe a little slower with that brace on his leg than usual. But he'll still be at least able to play just like Shaq who's also not as fast but still very effective. |

So when are we gonna see YAO back in action? 10 days? 15 days? or 20 days? The suspense is killing me... |

I wonder, is Yao's stamina right now as bad as it was when he was a rookie?
If so, then that's good enough for me! |

Not sure if there are anyone here with insider sources close to the Rockets to double confirm this ?
According to this article, Yao Ming will return to court on March 9 on home court versus New Jersey Nets. |

| let's hope Yao is not rushing back. seeing march 9 timeline is a bit short according to his other news. I would think another week or the end of march would be a better timing for Yao. |

My sources tell me that the Rockets will not commit to a timetable for Yao's return to the court. JVG was concerned with Mutombo's stamina and wear and tear to his body since he has been playing significant minutes when Yao went out. But JVG believes Big Jake is playing well enough to use him more frequently to relieve Mutombo.
JVG will play Yao once Yao can participate on full contact 5 on 5 scrimages with no ill effects. Since Yao is now travelling with the team on road games, JVG will reactivate him when he thinks he is ready to play regardless of whether it is a home or away game. |

This has to be GREAT NEWS after such frustrating setbacks of losses to scrub teams like Hawks, Celtics and Raptors........

According to this latest Sohu.com article (from Zhang Yi), Yao Ming confirmed to him that starting March 1 (US standard time), he will resume playing contact basketball with his team mates in the team practice !!!
Stay Tune for my report/photos of it. |
