Jason Kapono (24 points) beat Gilbert Arenas (17 points) and Dirk Nowitzki (9 points) in the final of the 3-point shooting contest. Mike Miller and Jason Terry were eliminated in the preliminary.
I still got no clue why Luther Head got no love, and was not included into the contest.

Gerald Green of Boston Celtic defeat Nate Robinson of New York Knicks in the final of the Slam Dunk contest, drawing a full 50 points from the judging panel composite of Julius Erving, Michael Jordan, Dominique Wilkins, Vince Carter and Kobe Bryant.

Okay.....
In today's Adidas sponsored media activity at MGM, Tracy McGrady told the reporters that Yao Ming did show up at his Friday night party, but no one could force him to dance.

Tracy McGrady also added that he and Yao Ming are personally great buddies off the court, used to make fun of each other, and he likes the feeling of being together with Yao, except that he does not like Yao Ming too indulged in his computer games, and not willing to go partying with him.

| pryuen.....if you would have seen the lineup for the 3 point contest you would know why luther didn't get no love.. there was only one guy that i could think of that luther could replace....damon jones.. but even jone has a much better chance than luther of winning it.. luther head does not have the right stroke to shoot 25 balls in a row. plus, he didn't campaign for his spot like jason kapono and damon jones did |

There is no way Head could win the 3 pt shooting contest. Rockets do have a player that could win it but he's not playing enough minutes to go to the All-Star game. You all know who I"m talking about.

Yao looks really good. I predict his first game back will be March 3rd at home against the Spurs! |
