The brightside throughout the past few games is that, Yao, is no longer the fragile mentally weak Chinese player we used to know, the Yao we remembered in the past was when he would miss 3 or 4 in a row, he would stop attempting more shots, clearly this has changed now. The indication of such attitude proves Yao has grown up and confident about his game, he will soon emerge as the ultimate leader on the team like he is on the CNT. 30+ attempts from Yao would have been seen as outrageous and could only been seen if he was wearing the Chinese jersey, lets just say, Yao is taking over now, we are trully entering the Ming Dynasty!

With Yi's great performance in the Asian games, maybe the Rockets can work something out in order to grab him, he's the tough blue collar worker that this team needs, just my opinion.

Let us all Believe.

Yi should not play on the same team as Yao since Yi should be allowed to lead his own NBA team.

Sometimes it it real tough to be a Yao Ming's fan.

When you look at these photos, you feel like remembering him shouting, cheering and raving support for those scrub team mates of the Chinese national team at the Olympics or the World Championship, urging them to step up, fight like men, and to win those games........ and every time they failed him !!

have you no concept of team :?:

you win as a team, lose as a team.

what you've demonstrated is the non-sensical Yao-only mentality, that everyone else revolves around Yao.

PRY, lift your head from the sand, Yao is part of a team.

And yet PRY is echoing what a lot of sports writers are saying. Check out the stories about last night's game where the writers talk about how Yao's double-double was wasted in the loss.

You can't ask for much more from a guy than 38/18 and 35/15.

Of course I know basketball is a team sport, and you win as a team and lose as a team.

But do you agree that EVERYONE on the Rockets should REALLY evolve around Yao Ming ??
It is after all the Rockets are playing a half-court, inside-out game, with Yao Ming as the anchor in offense and defense, with or without TMAC !!! He is the Go-To-Guy now.

I am showing these photos of Yao Ming just yelling out my frustrations that even as dominant a player like Yao Ming, delivering out stellar performance, monster statistics, the rest of the Rockets, like his national team mates, could not step up, fight like men, and let slip wins after wins.........

And the mere fact of him yelling, shouting, cheering at the bench, raving, motivating, supporting his team mates also demonstrated his passion and love of the game and his team. Did we see Tracy McGrady doing the same thing from the bench at the Staple Centre, even he has travelled with his team ?

Particularly delivering the 35/15 after 49 minutes, playing a back-to-back of playing 41 minutes delivering a 38/18 stellar performance!!

Particularly after receiving such biased officiating !!

Particularly for a consecutive night, his Rockets team mates once again letting slip of 20+ point leads when he was resting on the bench !!
