I was just about to start a thread on why I think Yao 'choked' last night;
Yao was thinking way too much and psyched himself out. It was as simple as that.

Yao didn't choke. I thought he played well. Just that Mutombo was playing an outstanding game.

Mutombo didn't choke and that guy's a genius. When he first came to the United States, if was off an academic scholarship from Georgetown and it was only in his second year there that he was recruited by the Basketball coach.

michael jordan, Bill Russell, Magic & Larry Bird are very smart; they also thrived under pressure---despite the fact that they're nervous & tight.
winners rise above adversities. cowards give in to adversities these winners would be vomiting nervously before crucial games. once the game starts, these cl_utch winners just compete.
