Anyone following this guy? A once in a generation athlete can sling home runs, runs fast and pitches 100mph consistently.

I follow him. Every single game. He is having an MVP-type season this year. Both hitting and pitching. We've never seen a player like this... since Babe Ruth.

[quote="supraman"]A once in a generation athlete can sling home runs, runs fast and pitches 100mph consistently. don't think ur an American; in the US, where baseball originated, we use such verbs as slammed, belted,
to the extent that major league baseball has not had a player who is
- a high-caliber pitcher,
- a high-caliber hitter
a league leader in home runs
- a high-caliber outfielder
- a fast and smart baserunner
since Babe Ruth (a hall-of-famer who played from the 1920s to 1930s),
Shohei Ohtani is a once-in-a-century talent.
btw, Shohei Ohtani will be in the home-run contest in the All-Star game in mid-July.
he is the odds-on-favor to win it

All-Star game will be in Denver. That means the baseball will fly further.

Ohtani hit 7 homeruns in his past 8 games... and he even lowered his ERA as a pitcher.
He is having a Linsanity-type season. He is representing Asians well.
Several other Asian pitchers pitching well this season.
Only problem is, all the other Asian batters stinks this season.

Ohtani hit another two home runs today and now leads the league in homeruns. That's 11 home runs in his last 13 games. And during those 13 games, he's pitched twice and only allowed 2 total runs. This is UNREAL.
Every time I watch ESPN Sportscenter, he's on it. I haven't seen this level of attention to a player since Linsanity of 2012.
