LoL moranus. Canto time machine. Back in 2017. What's your point?
CPTPP is much stricter than RCEP with a labor chapter to promote human and labor rights. China even accuse the TPP members of having that specifically to block China entry into the CPTPP. Not that China wanted to join, at that time it makes no sense with disadvantages outweighing the advantage of China's entry to TPP to China's economy.
Again back to present times, China wants to join the CPTPP. China has to give up certain rights to qualify, point of contentions will be China's SOEs.

As China joins the CPTPP. the US and India, both unstable hegemonic countries, will be excluded.
