LoL the cantos

Are we discussing cults or state sanction official Buddhist and Catholics?

Article 36 Citizens of the People’s Republic of China enjoy freedom of religious belief.

No state organ, public organization or individual may compel citizens to believe in, or not to believe in, any religion; nor may they discriminate against citizens who believe in, or do not believe in, any religion.

The state protects normal religious activities. No one may make use of religion to engage in activities that disrupt public order, impair the health of citizens or interfere with the educational system of the state.

Religious bodies and religious affairs are not subject to any foreign domination.

White Paper--Freedom of Religious Belief in China

Beijing, October, 1997

I. The Present Conditions of Religion in China

China is a country with a great diversity of religious beliefs. The main religions are Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism and Protestantism. Citizens of China may freely choose and express their religious beliefs, and make clear their religious affiliations. According to incomplete statistics, there are over 100 million followers of various religious faiths, more than 85,000 sites for religious activities, some 300,000 clergy and over 3,000 religious organizations throughout China. In addition, there are 74 religious schools and colleges run by religious organizations for training clerical personnel.

Never mind there are actual laws that are totally ignored, or CCP cutting deal with the pope, but meh. Build big Buddha statues to collect admission, tear it down if it get political threatening.

LoL, canto change over time. Again ignoring law, cut deal with the Vatican 2 years ago, prosecution and tearing down churches last year, positive negotiation with the Vatican again this year

China, Vatican negotiate to renew agreement: bishops

Canto victory

catholocism is a scam... protestantism is a thing... they can't both exist.

singocuck talking about china laws ROFLFL.... The CPC is dynamic, they have no problem with amending their laws and policies.

Stop following that falon gong talking points like some idiot tool.

Also, China has regulated markets... can't be cults just taking money. Religious freedom doesn't mean you can exploit the followers to SCAM MONEY like the West.

LoL the canto

The canto now go all over the place and cannot keep any coherent point

Catholic scam or not is a moot point that can be debated but doesn't change the fact that it is legal inside China and is protected by the constitution.

The point on protestant and catholic existence is moranus. They already both exist as official sanction religion inside China.

The topic has nothing to do with FLG which is cult. What has anything in the debated got to do with FLG but canto constantly FLG this and FLG that

Again Catholics and Buddhist are official state sanctioned religion that has legal protection inside China. The clergy are appointed by the CPC not for being religious our pious but obedient to the CPC

CPC officials do make ****** of moneys off religion. Why do you think those huge ***** Buddha tourist AAA National Parks are for? They collects admission.

CPC is not regulating anything flip flop rules going 180 twice inside 2 years. If you look at the precedence

1. politics, thought control
2. money
3. law and the religion itself is a moot point.

so meh.

Canto victory

Enough of canto nonsense and back to topic

China must resolutely counterattack India’s opportunist move: Global Times editorial

China's Western Theatre Command said Monday evening that Indian troops once again illegally crossed the Line of Actual Control near the south bank of the Pangong Lake and Reqin mountain pass on Monday, a blatant provocative move that seriously infringed on China's territorial sovereignty, and undermined the peace and stability in the China-India border area. Earlier in the day, India, who first moved to accuse China of carrying out "provocative military movements," said it preempted Chinese military activity.

What it fail to mention is the heights was previous occupied by Chinese troops for surveillance.

Moranuscuck, CPC change their laws and policy all the time. This is what makes China strong... they are pragmatic. IF they see stuff not working or corruption and exploitation of the laws, they shut that sht down right away.

Look how CPC handled covid19... they got that sht under control in 70 days, from full blown mystery illness to eradicating the virus in their borders.

There was a stock market crash yesterday in US, they still fail to regulate it.

Lastly, No one gives a flying sht about your stupid cult statues. Nothing of value was lost. Stop pretending to care like some fcking cult mofo. You just tryharding to troll and failing on your face... singocuck vitocry.

LoL, the canto

Canto a complete imbecile.

The law has never changed, just not worth the paper it was written on. Never mind disregarding HK constitution, now you see why HK don't trust Chinese treaty? LoL flexible pragmatic.

Something is legal because of the law that legalize it, not due to a whim.

Again practicing Catholic or Buddhist is legal in the PRC and protected by the constitution since 1982. On the flip side it is illegal to prevent a person from practicing his Catholic or Buddhist faith inside the PRC.

But meh... not that the law matters

no one here cares about your magic baby sky alien deity.

China didn't stop catholics and xtians and budda. They only stopped the over commercialization. superstitions get out of control... China want the people to WORK, not pray to magical fiction.

singocuck go pray yourself some IQ.

Another thing, how can any respectable country have laws that recognize fictional deities?

This is a contradiction. This is also why protestanism existed and usurped catholicism.

Can't have nutters falon gong insurrections and subverting the people... who is in control here... where is the taxes going?

A modern country should be secular and NEVER officially recognize ANY FICTIONAL FAIRIES. Theocracies are sht 3rd world nations... or mob rule.

LoL, the canto

China for one has law that recognize the practice of religion.

Canto once again an imbecile and cannot reconcile his own thoughts.

The state is secular, as with the USA. Meaning China is neutral to religion. There are countries not secular like India, Italy or UK where they have state religion.

Again even if the state is not secular, there are laws to protect practicing religion outside of the state religion.

Again Article 36 from the People's Republic of China constitution.

Article 36 Citizens of the People's Republic of China shall enjoy freedom of religious belief. No state organ, social organization or individual shall coerce citizens to believe in or not to believe in any religion, nor shall they discriminate against citizens who believe in or do not believe in any religion.

This is not even a debate or trolling. Practicing the Buddhist and Catholic faith is legal inside China and to coerce a Chinese citizen not to practice is his belief within the 5 recognize religion is illegal.

But inside China, re-education center, loosing pension. beaten up, tearing down temple and churches are pretty common. But meh... what are laws???

Again canto get confused on the easiest point, which is the competition for thought control. Religion although legal, is competition and the CPC is just removing the competition. Not limited to religion but cultures as well.

It is not enough to remove some monks, CPC end game is to wipe the entire culture including languages, attire etc.
