LoL, Again canto chives is totally disconnected.

Hong Kong or HK national security law is a moot point. HK as we used to know it is gone.

Move on to Taiwan already. 50cents favorite mayor got recalled.

I bet canto didn't even grasp that the national security law is a Chinese law not a Hong Kong law and did not pass through HK legislation. HK could pass article 23 but all this is a moot point now.

23 years, didn't even pass the half way line to 50 years.

Quote:
Article 18 of the Basic Law ("Article 18") states that the laws in force in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("Hong Kong") shall be the Basic Law, the laws previously in force in Hong Kong1Legend symbol denoting The laws previously in force in Hong Kong, as stated under Article 8 of the Basic Law, are the common law, rules of equity, ordinances, subordinate legislation and customary law., and the laws enacted by the legislature of Hong Kong. National laws shall not be applied in Hong Kong except for those listed in Annex III to the Basic Law ("Annex III"). The laws listed therein shall be applied locally by way of promulgation or legislation by Hong Kong.

Under Article 18, before a decision to add to or delete from the list of laws in Annex III is to be made by the NPC Standing Committee, the Basic Law Committee as well as the Hong Kong Government shall be consulted. Article 18 also requires that the laws listed in Annex III shall be confined to those relating to the following three areas: (a) defence; (b) foreign affairs and (c) other matters outside the limits of the autonomy of Hong Kong as specified under the Basic Law.

When the Basic Law was promulgated in 1990, there were six pieces of national laws listed in Annex III which included laws and regulations covering issues such as the capital, national day and diplomatic privileges and immunities. Since 1997, the NPC Standing Committee has made a total of three decisions to add to or delete from the list.3Legend symbol denoting In a decision made on 1 July 1997, the NPC Standing Committee deleted the Order on the National Emblem of the People's Republic Of China Proclaimed by the Central People's Government, and its attachment, from Annex III to the Basic Law. At present, Annex III contains 12 pieces of national laws. They include the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China; the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Garrisoning of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; and the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Exclusive Economic Zone and the Continental Shelf.

Singapore now has close to 42,600 cases. It looks like Singapore is in a mess right now, with 300,000 Indians running around, and your government has no clue of how to isolate and contain them in quarantine centers. They are still cross infecting each other where they live and where they work. Tourists are avoiding Singapore like crazy.

Just look at these 300,000 Indians running around like vampires in Singapore, scaring locals and expatriates.

This is a brilliant move by the US that is causing quite a stir among communist cadre and striking fears right where it matters most, their ill gotten gains stash away in the US.

Those four are only an example, how many Chinese officials has had money stash away in the US? This will definitely cause further divide within the CPC.

It would be nice if China place sanctions on Pelosi and Trump's family as well.

This is a brilliant move by China, by hitting hard on these Yankees who are trying to split and subvert China through Hong Kong. As more US officials try to benefit from huge investments in China, these corrupt officials will think twice before subverting Hong Kong.

Foreign investments have been flooding into China during the past few months, as they try to benefit from China's economic surge over the next decade.

Tuidang is trending in China

Trump has effectively do more against Chinese corruption than any anti-corruption bureau or person inside China has ever done.

What will happen to Xi Mingzhe still in Harvard? Will she return to China after studying like forever?

LoL canto wants to know who cares. Of course Xi cares, it is his daughter.

And Xi is the politician.

Why else would his daughter be "studying" in Havard for the past 10 years. She is almost 30.

Again China state own media
