Sun Lijun is basically CPC hatchet man / enforcer.
He was sent to HK to control the riots, and to Wuhan to lock down the city. The guy behind the HK kidnapping.
Will he be linked to Meng JZ, or eventually Wang QS?
Never mind his relatively low position but this arrest could be Bo XL level in China's power struggles among the factions.

I am in China, and every country should control surge in Covid-19 cases.
Still very tense in China for fear for the 2nd wave and asymptomatic cases.
The next few weeks will be very interesting for Chinese politics.

hoppers got time off from driving? No one in the west follow what's going on in HK anymore. Even with Jimmy Lai arrested, western news didn't even mention their names or at best did it obligatorily.
News at best is Taiwan did it first and best, WHO bully Taiwan.
If you're not aware, the American Economy crashed and anyone with a job currently is in panic mode.
Say what you want, everyone on the planet is looking toward China for either financial bailout or leadership.

Singapore now has more than 9000 cases, while Hong Kong(with bigger population) has about 1000 cases and Guangdong province (with 100 million population) has about 1600 cases.
grasshopper is now safe, as he is in China, as Singapore is now fumbling.

Sun Lijun is the hatchet man who is sent to HK and Wuhan. Mastermind the kidnapping not only the bookseller but most importantly Xiao JH. Planned the "accidental fall" of HNA Wang Jian.
The main topic is the person Sun Lijun, hatchet man/enforcer of all the dirty business you read about, not HK or Jimmy Lai or your silly nonsense.
Information passed to China that got Sun arrested are also sold to the CIA
USA is slow, but they are not stupid. USA is definitely catching on judging from Trump incoherent rambles probably from his security briefs. What an idiot for a president, Trump most probably is more interested to advance his own personal interest.
Things coming out of China is getting interesting.
The rolling out of internet currency, health code app, bursting the real estate bubble.
Big Canon Ren did what he did knowing he is going to be arrested anyway. So at least he got his fame.

Why are you hiding in China as a migrant worker Hoppers? If you hate China that much? Sht you say is in-congruent to your actions.
China GDP went down because of covid19. However, China did a much better job on containing the spread compared to the West. Recovery will also be smoother and quicker for China.
US is pushing for war on middle east... as usual. They will force a narrative on China like how the medical and financial aid to the world is reparation for guilt.
Western Decline is real, but like how the trumpians say at the protests to open the US economy. "Rather DIE, than lose their Freedom"
No one in the West gives the slightest FCK about the HK protests anymore. I don't even think, unless you're getting paid by Jimmy Lai or NED, that anyone in the East cares. Maybe only in a Sunk Cost fallacy capacity.

Neighbor had acid poured on her. It was reported on the local news. There was also a store with broken windows, but that wasn't even reported and counted as regular burglary.
