They doing the same thing to Huawei as they did to ZTE last year. Huawei prepared for it. They stockpiled enough chips and supplies for 12 months.

Protectionism, USA can't compete with China on 5G tech. It doesn't matter how much MIT research, it's strangled by politics and military industrial complex. These universities are farms for monopolies. Look at boeing and their shtty planes. They could have designed WAY better, but they cut cost by using old instruments and interface as to no having to retrain and certify the human pilots.

1 step forward and 2 steps back. trumfian victory!

Also, Chinese domestic market is huge and now they have a HUGE chance to pressure the unwanted foreign influence they don't like. If Chinese make their their own domestic OS for handsets and PC, paths will all be clear. The west will have to push for another opium war 2. The Chinese would have nothing they want produced by the west. Maybe pr0n and prostitutes. Sex industry like how westerners treat thailand. Trade war is like a dance, you get the shuffle the pecking order a bit, but you can't really go at war with your trade partners.

LoL the Cantos

You do know google is ban in China since 9+ years ago and is still banned. Never-mind most other US tech company like Facebook, snapchat, twitter.

Playstation, Nintendo, and X-box was banned up till 2013 when the Chinese decides to go with mobile gaming. If the Chinese has a gaming console, those would definately still be banned.

The Chinese were actually looking at retaliation looking for stuff they can banned which they hadn't already. LoL, they are still looking.

Huawei is given a 90days stay on the google ban. Which is critical to Huawei survival.

11% of Huawei purchase (the biggest) is from a single US supplier Qualcomm.

Microsoft, intel also joined in the ban, a blow to Huawei matebook

China can ban all GM cars except they were already banned since the beginning. Cars in China has to be joint ventures and made in China. In GM case, it is actually SAIC-GM

China already banned Winnie the Pooh because the bear looks like Xi

You stupid Singacock moron

Even now GM can make some money in their joint venture,. It should be totally banned, then they will make no money and with no market share in the world's largest vehicle market.

All Hollywood movies should be banned, not just Winnie the poh.

Google and facebook were never banned. If they comply with certain content requirements, the Chinese are pkay with that.
