Thanks for the advice.

I will still try to get it from Shenzhen
. ...it cost only RMB 198 (~ HK$ 187). There is no reason why Commercial Press should surcharge > 15% on the published price.

PR, the transportation fee is expensive. I guess you want an excuse to go to Shenzhen for some other reasons. lol

That's not the point.

The book is priced @ US$ 22.95 in USA.

This translated into RMB is 22.95 X 8.2765 = ~ RMB 190.
This translated into HK$ is 22.95 X 7.792 = ~ HK$ 179

So why it only cost RMB 198 in China, but HK$ 215 in Hong Kong, if you're talking about transportation fee !!!

PR, I know it's unfair. Living cost in HK is high. I hope you will find the book next time and have a nice trip!

What the hell is going on here? Yao isn't even 24 years old yet and he's got a biography? It's becoming a craze here in the U.S. for a person with any kind of celebrity to write a biography, but I've never seen it done by somebody so young. Is this going to be like a series of installments? 0-23, 24-47, 48-71, 72-dead?????

Yes,i just feel the same way,I think we should ask Yao why?

Good. There's been a whole lot of speculation and rumors about how much Yao is giving to the Chinese Government, how they take all of his money, etc. And it will be nice to get the real scoop straight from the horse's mouth.

I hate Chinese Government,go to hell.
Everybody, please think about it,if Chinese Government release Yao to the NBA ahead of one year he has been selected by Houston,i bet Michael Jordon will select him as the center instead of the high-school-kid,how much will Yao learn from MJ technically and mentally, that would be a priceless heritage for Yao,that would be much easier for MJ to reach the offseason,if so,MJ will not retire so soon.
Second, they baned WangZZ form the National Team cunningly. What did they say,Wang was not willing to join,Ohhh, who will believe them.As you know,Chinese are patriots.
Not even mention how much they extorted Yao.
