I found it surprising that for his first house Yao got one in a gated community in Windsor Park lakes then moved to his 2nd house in Thamer which i not a gated community. Normally as Nba players get more popular and get more money like Yao they move to gated communities for privacy.

So Yao's parents Cleans both houses when Yao was still there ? read somewhere that Yao's parents insist they clean the house to save money. True ? Damm that 2nd house is big with a pool .


his first house was in 18923 Crescent Bay Drive (windsor Park lakes ) which was chosen and bought by his mom (via Bill duffy ) less than 2 weeks before Yao arrived in Houston. The price was 500,000 and yao He sold it in dec 2007 which based on market value at the time would be about 550,000 but now its value is over 900,000 so again he sold it way sooner than he needed to.
