[color=#FF0000]Yao Ming and Shane Battier participated in a special basketball training camp for a group of school children in the Hongyuan Jinfeng Sport Park morning of August 30th.[/color]

[color=#BF0000]The purpose for the basketball training camp was to screen and pick 2 teams of 8 boys and 2 girls each to play in the 3Q of the 2014 Yao Foundation Charity Game.

Actually a team of 8 boys and 2 girls had already been selected from the best players of various Project Hope primary schools participated in the 2014 Yao Foundation Project Hope Primary School Basketball Season, and another team of 8 boys and 2 girls had to be screened and selected from primary schools from Dongguan.

Both Yao Ming and Shane Battier spent time teaching the boys and girls some basketball fundamentals.

And a team scrimmage was organized between the 2 picked teams with Yao Ming and Shane Battier acting as their coaches. Shane Battier's team eventually won the contest.[/color]
