No, I don't. altho Atlantans wishfully refer the Atl as the NYC of the South, they don't give a rats azz about JLin, the Calif Asian who went to Harvard, much less his fan base outside of Atl the South is as provincial as can be; that is why, in Atlanta, the human interest story surrounding the local KCP would be much more compelling

But Lin’s fans from around the world buy jerseys and buy NBA League Pass to watch him play, and that adds revenue to the team. A local player buried in a depth chart with 6 players at the same position won’t do squat for the team’s viewership if the team is tanking.

No...if the Hawks trade Lin, it'll be to collect draft picks or a front-court player who is either young with potential or older and can mentor the younger players...and they'll also need to get another PG back because the team really has no one at that position on the roster who can actually play NBA-level PG on the second unit who can keep them in games other than Lin.
