"I've met with many teenagers from poor families who are passionate about basketball in the United States. Therefore, I hope to help teenagers from China, who are also dreaming to play professional basketball," said Lin.

[color=#FF0000]Lin has joined hands with Li, now serving as president of CBA Dongguan Basketball School, to set up a basketball foundation and a training camp, aiming to develop young Chinese players.[/color]

They shared their basketball stories on Thursday evening in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, as the city counts down one year to the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

The world's largest basketball competition will be held between Aug 31 and Sept 15 in eight Chinese cities - Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan and Dongguan.

Dinwiddie and Hollis-Jefferson are great friends to go all that way. Any chance Joe Tsai gets booed for trading him?

Hope Lin doesn't get hurt. I saw him in Brooklyn last year in person a week before his injury and his body language was terrible, he moved like an old man, very conservative with any explosive movements.

Joe Tsai has to playball (pun) with the juice power core of the NBA. He can't just unilaterally swing his thing around and bully. Tsai can only influence with personnel matters, or he'll look like a fool like that indian owner of SAC. Kings.

Lin can only hope to keep the door open and not burn bridges. but it really depend on him getting healthy and be productive. Sports athletics is a cutthroat profession.

He looked OKAY, [/color][color=#BF0000]and he scored [/color][color=#FF0000]40 points, still HIGH FG% [/color] [color=#BF0000]but of course, it was just a friendly/celebrity charity game, without the intensity of regular NBA games..

He looks okay... but he had not as much penetrations into the lane as in the past. But he still jumped and made block shots !!![/color]

Lin is Tsai's favorite player. I doubt Joe Tsai had anything to do with trading Lin away. He is still only a minority (49%) owner. The russian dude is still the majority owner. Tsai doesn't get control of the team until the 2021-2022 season.
