Hawks are where the Nets were 2 years ago...beginning of a rebuild with new coach and new GM. Clearing cap space to start getting pieces in the next few years.

YEAH.... getting rid of Dennis Schroder's remaining 3-year contract (@46.5M) and then the buyout of Carmelo Anthony will clear up a total of at least US$45M salary cap space. Also Jeremy's expriing contract will help too in the rebuild.

Marks apparently called Jeremy to tell him about the trade the morning before it was announced:

Now that Melo has been traded to the Hawks joining Lin, who was also traded there,
in retrospect, u wanna retract you false accusation ?

LOL !!!

YOU CANTO MORANUS STILL BEATING THE DEAD HORSE !!!

The original rumor was Jeremy would be traded to Oklahoma City Thunders for Melo.

Instead Jeremy was traded to Atlanta Hawks.

The current 3-party trade that gave Melo to Atlanta Hawks is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TRADE !!!

And YOU IDIOT is mixing them all up just for your CANTO VICTORRRRRRRRRRRRRRY !!!

Roflmao! I actually want to hear his explanation of how my “accusation” has been proven to be false. Should be very funny!

Pretty disappointed that Dr. No hasn't tried to explain this... :(

Not sure why you think this is such an odd concept. Any player in the NBA has the chance to be an all-star if they improve.

Am very surprised that there's been so little news about Jeremy now being with the Hawks. Has he been to Atlanta since the trade?

That's because I had been LAZY !!!

YEAH he had moved from New York to Atlanta beginning of September.

As a matter of fact, Jeremy spent almost 2 weeks of August in China (in Beijing and Shanghai) and pre-shot a few more episode for the Dunk of China show.

The celebrity basketball-related variety show was an instant success on its debut end August with over 100 Millions viewership.

Jeremy flew directly from Shanghai to Vancouver on August 19 (?) to watch his e-Sport teams VGJ-Storm and VGJ-Thunder competing in The International: DOTA 2 Championships held at Rogers Arena as well as returning to Fortius Sport & Health Centre to resume his rehabilitation. He had started playing 5X5 basketball there.

He spent his 30th birthday in Vancouver working out with Josh Fan, his trainer.

He then made it back to Palo Alto, I believe for the consecutive birthdays of his sister-in-law Patricia and his nephew Jaden on the 27th.

He then left Palo Alto on August 29 back to New York and started packing and moving to his new home in Atlanta.
