Based on tonight, I think Lin will be traded before the all star game...

Lin should start preparing for his life after retirement, like, running for POTUS.

He'll still play for another 3 years if he wants to, but it will be in a backup role...unless somehow he gets traded this year to a team that needs him to start and he's able to show that his knee is fully healed and he's 100% back to what he was. That said, if he doesn't get that opportunity, he may well decide that it's not worth it and move on...

latest trade rumor - the 12-8 LAL is working to make this trade to get Bradley Beal, age 25,
a sharp shooting SG avg w >20 ppg the last 2 seasons, from the Wizzards
LAL will give up SF B Ingram, PG Lonzo Ball, (both age 21 & former #2 overall picks), and fillers
- If the above is done, LAL will then
swap its expiring contract on sg K Caldwell-Pope for Lin's expiring contract. KCP is from Georgia Tech, located in a suburb of Atl.
hope this goes thru, cos Lin could be getting meaningful minutes w a playoff team that will likely advance past at least 2 rounds in the playoff;

Why would this make sense for Atlanta?
