NOT AS WILD-SHOOTING as Trae Young, who scored only 11 points from very poor FG% (5/16 FG% 1/6 3-pointer%). Trae Young had 2 rebounds/8 assists in 20 minutes of action.
For Jeremy, he only scored 4 points (2/4 FG%)/3 rebounds/3 assists in 15 minutes of action.

Did it look like Lin got fouled hard here, https://youtu.be/8JmHFKxgQGs?t=144
...and the two black refs who were in position to call the foul -- refused to call a foul?

Had a chance to watch some of the game last night. The good news is that athletically, Lin looks like he hasn't lost anything in terms of cutting, lateral movement, etc. Hard to tell about first step quickness, but it looked fine. And he was very active both on offense and defense. But his shooting form looked a little off and/or just a little hesitant with his release...hopefully that's just rust. Based on this game, Young will likely be the starter at the start of the season, tho...

Gotta say that the Hawks look better than I thought they'd be. Lin looking like his old self, with no signs of hesitation from his injury, and the rust is going away. Nice game last night, 20pts off the bench... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUU3fYdwLGwTrae Young looks good enough that he's probably going to start and Lin will come off the bench this season. He'll probably get 15-20 minutes per game...

Any support that Suns and Hawks are actually talking? Or is this just another one of those sportswriters’ speculation?

Lin is an expiring contract, huge one. NBA has strange set of values regarding player worth.
I can't see the Suns wanting to do this trade at this point of the season. Did they just wake up and realize 2 days before the start of the season, that they needed a starting PG?
