But I thought I've heard that there is a clause in the contract that states that if you get hurt than your pay will be different. Please explain...

If his contract has that clause, then Lin has the worst sports agent on the planet.

YUP..... it was GUARANTEED that regardless whether he is injured or not, he will get the same kind of $$$$$$$. It was just like Yao Ming who got fully paid in the last 2 years of his contract even though he was absent for most of the season.

that states that if you get hurt than your pay will be different.
heard from whom ?

why don't you just google "Standard NBA player contract"

like the MLB and NHL, in the event of injury, NBA players get paid fully

in the NFL,
the team can cut a player off the official team roster, effectively voiding the contract.

but, if the player remains on the roster, he gets paid fully
If his contract has that clause, then Lin has the worst sports agent on the planet. even if his agent is that incompetent,
neither the NBA players association / nor the NBA would not allow him do it,
    ie signing a non-standard contract.

if Lin was playing in the CBA, he would have been cut and replaced immediately by another expat.

Nets traded for Jahil Okafor in exchange for Trevor Booker. I think this was a good deal for the Nets. Okafur couldn't find any time behind Embiid.

The Nets haven't had any high draft picks lately, but able to land #2 overall pick D'Angelo Russell and #3 overall pick Jahil Okafor.... and even had a #1 overall pick lately.

Well, the Brooklyn Nets had to clear up salary space for the deal to waive Sean Kilpatrick.

It was good deal considering it was 1 for 3.....Trevor Booker for Jahil Okafor + Nik Stauskas + a 2nd round draft for 2019 NBA Draft.
