Well, you'll have to draw some intestines for me, because I don't see what makes this trade something that the Nets were desperate to do.

i know that u know the answer,
you just don't want to say it :!:

Yes, because I'm too polite to call you an idiot...

Canto LOGIC still trying to convince others that D'Angelo Russell is a GOOD-FOR-NOTHING LAZY BONE !!!

Bingo,
PRY is scared sh itless of directly answering my questions :!:

LOL !!!

CANTO VICTORRRRRRRRRRRRY !!!!

I've answered that from the start !!!!

But you're just TOO DUMB to understand !!!!

Brooklyn Nets aims to strengthen its shooting guard position, and NOT the small forward position.

Signing Brandon Ingham would be just trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, won't solve the problem, but further worsen the situation.

Besides, Jeremy's 3rd year contract is a player's option, which means Jeremy could become a free agent after next season.

Signing up a combo guard like D'Angelo Russell would be
KILLING 2 BIRDS WITH 1 STONE 一石二鸟, i.e. solving the shooting guard position weakness as well as an insurance for position 1, in case Jeremy opts to walk away as a free agent in the next season.

And I just LOLed at Canto Moranus whho must be once again pulled ***** from his @R$E saying Brooklyn Nets originally preferred Brandon Ingham over D'Angelo Russell !!!

JESUS CHRIST !!!

Brooklyn Nets had been WEAK in position 2 i.e. the shooting guard position (where they have the immature Sean Kilpatrick and the old Randy Foye), and NOT position 3 i.e. the small forward position, where they have already 2 young players with potential: Chris LeVert and Rondae Hollis Jefferson.

Brandon Ingham's natural position is a small forward !!!

WHY OVERLOADING the small forward position by bringing in Brandon Ingham, and NEGLECTING to strengthen the shooting guard position ???

Phil can't take the truth and, in the process, becomes an easy prey for half-azzed reporting :!:

who to believe

the HoF, selected for his stellar play at the PG position, or the half-azzed reporter :?:
    what an easy choice :!:

fwiw, that Newsdaily article is a half-azzed job.

    several days before
the newly-hired special consultant to the LAC, also a HoF, aka the logo,
whose given name is Jerry West, pretty much echo Magic's sentiment on Lazy D.

he also held his protege, Mitch K, accountable for the mistakes on signing Deng and Mosgove; also lauded Magic's ability to get rid it of one the the mistakes so quickly, giving LAL much needed flexibility.

He was too polite to call the Nets suckers, triggered by the desperation to acquire young elite talents

Newsdaily either intentionally omitted to add this context or didn't do enough research to know about another HoF's, familiar w the situation, comments. either way, it is an indictment against Newsday's shabby reporting, such as it is

also, another HoF, James Worthy holds the same opinion as West and Magic.

NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, THAT'S ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY AND CLASSLESS for YOUR HOF MAGIC Johnson to BURN THE BRIDGES AND THROW a 21-year-old player under the bus like that !!!

It just showed Magic Johnson is an @$$HOLE !!!

Even if D'Angelo Russell is really an unpopular player that the rest of the Lakers players do not like to play with, he needs not SPELL IT OUT LOUD to the world !!!

He seemed to forget it is ALL ABOUT BUSINESS and he took it TOO PERSONAL.

Compared that to what Lakers GM Rob Pelinka told the press. It is HEAVEN AND HELL between Rob Pelinka vs Magic Johnson. Rob Pelinka was MUCH MORE TACTFUL, spoke like a high executive should saying it has nothing to do with the player; it was all about the trade and benefit brought to the Lakers, i.e. they got back an All Star-calibre centre in Brook Lopez, amazing salary cap relief in removal of Timofey Mozgov’s three -year, $48 million albatross; and the 27th pick in the draft which gave the Lakers three first round picks.

A Chinese idiom said it RIGHT: 势不可使尽,山水有相逢 which literally mean one should not use his power to suppress others while he is in a position to do so, cos tides will change and others will do the same to him in future.

Well, Magic Johnson is just TACTLESS and CLASSLESS to throw a 21-year-old under the bus like that.

He just took it TOO PERSONAL,
and he seemed to forget Aaron Mintz is D'Angelo Russell's agent, who also represents Paul George, a player that LA Lakers is eager to acquire when Paul George becomes a free agent in next summer !!!

SLAMMING D'Angelo Russell like that is going to P!$$ OFF Aaron Mintz and could be SHUTTING THE DOOR for the POSSIBILITY of bringing Paul George abroad !!!

PRY pretending that he has the inside info, when in fact, he is clueless about the LAL situation.

this comment only cements PRY'sreputation as being clueless on the NBA.

Magic is sending a message, not just to Paul George, but also future FAs that
the LAL's culture is changing for the best, and laziness will not be tolerated,
applicable to lottery picks, veterans, FAs, bench warmers and D-leaguers
hard workers such as PG, almost Kobe-like, welcome such a working environment.

for the education of PRY,
  • Paul George calls his own shots, not Aarn Minz, a fact that you don't know.
  • last year, FA LaMarcus Altridge chose not to sign w the LAL because he did want to be a part of an environment that protects/coddles lottery picks, such as D, even if they're lazy

Magic is the front runner for NBA executive of the year :!:
