The Nets traded away Bojan for essentially a 1st round pick (likely in the 20s). There were other players involved in this trade, but they won't contribute much.

Still waiting to see if Brook Lopez is traded.

Brooklyn Nets waived Marcus Thornton they got from Washington Wizards from the trade of Bojan Bogdanovic.

In that trade with Washington Wizards, the Nets also got rid of their 2015 draft Chris McCullough and in return got power forward Andrew Nicholson.

And they got K.J. McDaniels from Houston Rockets on another trade.

Brook was rumored to be traded for months. and yet he wasn't traded. Nets were probably asking for too much.

I guess Scola was tired of losing. his request to be waived was granted. he has a chance to sign on to a playoff contending team. But deadline is tomorrow.

FAILING that, he needs NO WORRY about continuing playing basketball.

With his popularity (as Big Yao's team mate at Houston Rockets) and scoring prowess/ability, ANY CBA team will be interested to sign him up next season.
