It's been over 2 weeks since Lin's hamstring injury. Isn't he supposed to be back by now? now, i'm hearing rumors he may sit for the rest of the year... until 2017.

Rumor has it that Lin tore his ACL yesterday in practice......he might need surgery and will be out for the rest of 2917 and part of 2018 could possibly be back early 2019. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jeremy....

WTF !!! WHERE did you read/heard this RUMOR ???

ANY LINK ???

Jeremy is with the team on the road trip, and he went through detailed medical check by the team doctors (who flew to join the team in Oklahoma) on the progress of his hamstring injury.

Early reports on his fan club site was he is doing fine, in good progress and on schedule.

All these while, Jeremy had been working on his rehab, with a Taiwanese rehab specialist flying in from Taipei to take care of him, going through acupuncture, Chinese herb treatment and massaging every day. (The guy got into acquaintence with Jeremy back in summer of 2011 during Jeremy's China/Taiwan tour, and ever since, whenever Jeremy got injured, the guy would fly out from Taiwan to help Jeremy out on his rehabilitation).

He had also started some light leg stretching and shooting practice.

He had requested to return to team practice/scrimmage, but the Nets management had been very cautious and had not approved his return to team scrimmage i.e. with physical contact, until he's 100% healthy to prevent him from aggravating his hamstring or injure some other parts of his body.

It was said that it will be another 4 to 5 days before he could rejoin the team in team scrimmage, and then another week or so before he could be reactivated.

So how could he had torn his ACL WITHOUT playing physical contact basketball ???

Even if it happened (KNOCK ON WOOD),
since there were reporters from Taiwan and China based in New York, dedicated to cover his every move and news on and off the court, HOW COME there were NO SUCH NEWS/REPORTS on newspapers/sports websites ???

MY CURSE to the ONE who FABRICATED AND SPREAD this RUMOR around !!! @#$%^&*()_(*&^%$#$%^&*(

Natedogg was being sarcastic and was poking fun at me. I understand his humor.

Quote:
Atkinson said Friday that point guard Jeremy Lin (strained left hamstring) was re-evaluated. “He’s shooting and doing stuff,” Atkinson said. “I just think he’s on our timetable, progressing well.”

Well, DEFINITELY, Jeremy did not tear his ACL.......

Or he would not have still sat at the bench, worked on the stats of his team mates, and raved/cheered support for the team for the full game in Oklahoma.

Besides NewsDay's Greg Logan who travelled with the team on their road trip to cover news about the Nets posted the following

This is consistent with what another reporter from New York Post Brian Lewis posted
