"Lin's killed us" (Coach Steven's Quote)

and it looks like everyone's available tonight Except Levert who's still recovering from foot surgery

The team chemistry looks much better this game so far, especially the team defense.

The refs are actually calling fouls for Lin this game.... ah.. maybe it's because there are no black refs in this game.

none of Lin's 3 point attempts went in, but Lin had another good game. He was +11 (best on the team by far), and had 7 assists and made several highlight worthy drives to the basket.

Even though it was a heart-breaking loss, but guess Head Coach Kenny Atkinson should have NO COMPLAINT about this one.

It's a matter of the team had yet to learn how to close at the end of the game. Leading by 3 but to let the Celtics had a 6 ~ 0 run in the last minute to grab the victory away is pretty HEART-BREAKING.

But the team showed alot of improvement in terms of their defense and team chemistry, and proved a couple of things:
  • This is DEFINITELY Jeremy's team, as he orchestrated every of the offense, dished assists to make his team mates better (including himself, 4 of the starters and 2 of the bench players scored in double-digits), played hard on defense. He's the LEADER and FLOOR GENERAL of this team.

  • Luis Scola proved he deserved to stay and be given a guaranteed contract if he had not been given one. Despite he is already 36 years old, he proved he can still ball, scoring a double-double (14 points/11 rebounds/5 assists) from the bench. He surely can become the 6th man from the bench to provide offensive sparks and rebounds for the team.

  • On the other hand, that Canuck Anthony Bennett should be waived after the pre-season, as despite he was a #1 draft pick, he seemed PRETTY USELESS, A LIABILITY on both end of the court, jacking all kinds of wild shots and could not even rebound. He scored only 2 points (1/9 FG% 0/1 3-pointer%) and 1 rebound in 19 minutes of action. Sometimes it made one wonder WHY Cleveland Cavaliers picked him as #1 draft back in 2013 NBA Draft !!!

Bennett was a dud last night, although his 2 points came on a nasty dunk off a pick and roll play.
his previous 2 games against knicks and heat, he was decent though. not #1 pick overall worthy, but not a bad role player. I think bennett stays in the 15 man rotation.

I personally believe Bennett suffers from YIPS. Something is not right in his head and it shows with his body language. This dude is worse than Yi in every category.

Some people said Bennett was a Swingman 3/4 in college. He got fat and became a shtty PF.

Bennett's outside shot is not bad... but he's a shtty rebounder, and can't justify having a slow fat undersized can't rebound mediocre 3pt stretch 4 as your prospect on the active rotation. Oh, he also has small hands and can't catch passes and drops the ball on very slight contact.

Guy had like 2 years to work on his pro game. I don't really see how he's improved. He lost some weight and but we can see he's already gaining it back. Guy is not in China... Bennett has been surrounded by the best trainers in the world.
