So Charlotte Hornets (45W 33L) returned home after a 3-road-game trip, losing 2 and winning 1 to play against a visiting Brooklyn Nets (21W 57L) at Time Warner Cable Arena.

The competition for #3 ~ #6 place in Eastern Conference remains TENSE AND CLOSE. It seems Atlanta Hawks (47W 32L) is cruising to win the Southeast Division and #3, as they are 1.5 games ahead of Charlotte Hornets, while both Boston Celtics (#4 and 46W 32L) and Miami Heat (#5 and 46W 32L) are still within striking distance for Charlotte Hornets.

And this should be a WINNABLE ONE on paper, as the hapless Brooklyn Nets is currently in losing streak of 6 by an average of 19.3 points, and their starting centre and power forward Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young have been shutdown for the season and will be DNP in this game.

So let's hope Charlotte Hornets can pocket another win to close up the gap between them and Miami Heat and Boston Celtics to keep their chance alive for #4 spot for home court advantage.

Possible line up

Brooklyn Nets

Point Guard: Shane Larkin
Shooting Guard: Wayne Ellington
Small Forward: Bojan Bogdanovic
Power Forward: Thomas Robinson
Centre: Henry Sims

Charlotte Hornets

Point Guard: Kemba Walker
Shooting Guard: Courtney Lee
Small Forward: Nicolas Batum
Power Forward:Marvin Williams
Centre: Cody Zeller

As expected NO MUCH TROUBLES for Charlotte Hornets to beat Brooklyn Nets 113 ~ 99 on home soil to extend their winning streak to 2.

Sporting a new hairdo, Jeremy's shooting was a bit off probably affected by his bruised elbow; he scored 11 points (4/11 FG% 1/4 3-pointer% 2/3 FT%)/5 rebounds/3 assists/1 block shot/0 turnover/4 fouls in 27 minutes of action.

One cool thing I noticed was that every time Lin got fouled and there was no call, Al Jefferson would start complaining to the ref. Good to see his teammates speaking up for him and showing support...
