TheSmoket had asked for leave of absence for a few days.

So on his behalf, let me start this game thread for him.

After an important come-from-behind away win over playoff contender Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets (39W 29L) returns to play a visiting Denver Nuggets (28~41) at home at Time Warner Cable Arena.

The Charlotte Hornets had been almost all-conquering so far in March; they had won 9 out of 10 in March, and they've been hitting on all cylinders offensively so far this month, averaging an East-best 113.8 points and making 41.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Given their top form, on paper, Charlotte Hornets seems like they should have no problem brushing aside a struggling Nuggets out-fit to extend their current winning streak of 2. Denver Nuggets had been playing pretty poor lately on a season high-tying four-game road skid, and they will probably be playing san 2 starters: Danilo Gallinari and Kenneth Faried, all sidelined due to injuries.

Head Coach Steve Clifford of Charlotte Hornets will probably keep the same starting roster, except he might consider starting Al Jefferson in lieu of Cody Zeller, who is questionable and could be sidelined after leaving Thursday's Miami game at halftime due to left knee soreness.

So as the 3rd placed Atlanta Hawks (40W 29L) the #1 team in Charlotte Hornets' Southeast Division will also play tomorrow against Houston Rockets, a win for Charlotte Hornets and a loss to Atlanta Hawks will probably propel Hornets to the top of Southwest Division, as well as moving up the ranking of East Conference, as they're just 0.5 game behind Atlanta Hawks.

So ANYTHING can happen in NBA !!!

Charlotte Hornets had a poor start, missing tons of their shots, playing porous defense, had a scrappy first half, dug out TOO BIG A HOLE that they could not climb out of, lost to a visiting Denver Nuggets 93 ~ 101 on their own home court, snapping their winning streak of 2, and second loss in recent 11 games in March.

The ONLY GRATIFYING POINT for JLIN fans
was Jeremy sort of walked out of his recent shooting slump, scored 16 points (6/10 FG%, 2/2 3-pointer%, 2/4 FT%), 3 rebounds, zero assist, 1 steal, 2 fouls and 2 turnovers in 25 minutes of action.

On a night when Atlanta Hawks beat Houston Rocket 109~97, Miami Heat upset Cleveland Cavaliers 122 ~ 101, Charlotte Hornets (39W 30L), not only could not surpass their division leader Atlanta Hawks (41W 29L), but also got surpassed by Miami Heat (40W 29L) and Boston Celtics (39W 30L) and dropped back to #6 in Eastern Conference.

Hornets were probably too complacent against the Nuggets. Now, they got a tough home game against the Spurs who just beat the Warriors with their defense.
