Post subject:  Manila and Taipei Exhibition Games
Rockets arrived in Manila Monday 9:34AM Oct 7, on the chartered Atlas Air flight 5Y 2994 (dubbed "Houston Express" for its 3x weekly shuttle between Houston and Lagos, Nigeria for the oil workers). It's a 747 configured for 189 passengers in mostly business class configuration.

It looks like [url=http://pic.sports.sohu.com/group-487310.shtml#1]papa Lin and sister-in-law[/url] are with him on this trip. Teammate, [url=http://pic.sports.sohu.com/detail-487310-0.shtml#0]Aaron Brooks & companion[/url].

Is Papa Lin no longer a software engineer? looks like he's traveling everywhere. I don't think any employer would let their employee take so many days off to travel to asia all the time.... and make youtube clips.

IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN,[/color][color=darkred] I remembered reading from a bibliography of Jeremy called the Story of Jeremy Lin (a compilation of articles by different Taiwanese writers/reporters) that Jeremy's parents had doctoral degrees from Purdue. His Dad had 2 PHDs, one in Computer Engineering; the other in Electrical Engineering. His Mom had a PHD in Computer Science;[/color] [color=red]his Dad used to work in the lab/R&D institute of US Department of Defense. But he had retired. [/color]
