Yesterday was a pretty quiet day for Jeremy, as there were not much activities scheduled in Beijing.

He left Beijing to fly to Chengdu Sichuan in the afternoon, and arrived late evening.

He was shocked to see hundreds of his die hard fans waiting for him in the arrival hall.

He received a short interview at the airport, saying he was impressed that so many fans came out to the airport to greet him; and he looks forward to be able to see a panda, the national treasure of China, in live action.

This is Jeremy's first visit to Chengdu, and he will stay there until the 31st. There will be 2 to 3 endorser's (Volvo) activities, as well as a visit to the earthquake-stricken area of Ya An.

Some photos of Jeremy upon arrival into Chengdu last night.

YEAH, I'm about to post these photos.

These photos were taken today
after his visit to the pandas.

During this Taiwan/China tour, Jeremy did not abandon his daily training regimen.

He trained
at least 2-hour per day regardless how busy he was.

For instance, once in Chengdu, through liaison with some friends, he had secured the training gym of Sichuan Jinqiang basketball team for his training during his stay there.

But I guess he has either to work alone on his own, or has to find someone to play one-on-one with him. His shooting coach is still with him, but I guess his brothers Joshua and Joseph had left after the Shanghai stop.

Jeremy and his parents visited Chengdu Panda Base at the suburbs of Chengdu this morning (August 29).

They went out of their hotel early in the morning; Jeremy was surprised to see alot of fans waiting in the hotel lobby as early as 07:30 am in the morning for his autographs.

They arrived at the Chengdu Panda Base around 08:30 am, and Jeremy had his wish come true with close encounter with a big panda.

Jeremy then was rushed back to the gym/training stadium of Sichuan JinQiang for his daily 2-hour training.

Here are photos of his visit to the Chengdu Panda Base this morning.

If I'm not mistaken, she is Jeremy's sister-in-law, Patricia, wife of his brother Joshua. Had seen her alot of times in past activities with Lin's family. She was also in Jeremy's visit to Taiwan and China last year.

Let's wrap up Jeremy's last 2 days' activities in Chengdu.

After the visit to the Chengdu Panda Base to have a close encounter with the pandas, Jeremy attended the launching ceremony of Volvo's national car owners association in Chengu in the afternoon of August 29.

As the first batch of the members of the Volvo car owners association mostly come from the medical, textile and designer field, they came out with the first charity initiative for their association, i.e. designing, fabricating and donating school uniforms for over 7,000 school children at schools in earthquake stricken areas.

In the morning of August 30, Jeremy visited a secondary school at Lushan of Ya An, the epicentre of a big earthquake back in April this year.

He spoke a few words of encouragement to the students there, telling them to be brave to face up adversities.

He then played a few games together with them before rushing back to Chengdu for another activity of his endorser Volvo.

Here are photos of Jeremy during his visit in Ya An.

Right after his visit to the Lushan Secondary School at Lushan of Ya An, Jeremy rushed back to Chengdu to appear in the 16th Chengdu International Motor Show at the Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center in the afternoon (August 30).

As Volvo's international image spokesperson, Jeremy appeared in the Volvo booth at the exhition, launching Volvo's latest model: S80L.

He also had one of his autographed Houston Rockets reserved for the winner of the lucky draw.
