for the last few weeks, ESPN and Truehoop network has been ranking players in the nba going into next season. Top 500
Last year Jeremy Lin was ranked 467 with the warriors.
They are currently near top 100
at this post #113 just posted as Chris Kaman.
Lin's rank hasn't been revealed so far.
so where would he rank?

If Lin made it past 113, that already mean he's top 20 pg in the league.

dont worry about that ******. there's 0 upside to ranking Lin objectively. people will say you're inflating him
if you underrate him, EVEN IF YOU ARE PROVEN WRONG like last year and CALLED ON IT SPECIFICALLY you can duck and hide and say he's "unproven" etc
in other news the coach that Lin helped choose at Harvard is in hot water for his cheating players.... basically in the 70s Harvard, along with the top Ivy schools decided to not give scholarships or recruit. prior to that guys like Grant Hill's dad, the guy Doonesberry is based on etc played at in the Ivy League
the past 5-6 years they've been heavily recruiting black players for the big sports (basketball, football) and like 100 of them have been busted for systematic cheating at Harvard alone.

Lin is only ranked 78?!!!!
When Lin started his first 7 games for the Knicks, he was putting up Hall-of-Fame numbers! Better numbers than Lebron James first 7 games.
Once Carmelo Anthony came back, those numbers went down... but nevertheless, Lin is at least top 30.

well according to those rankings Lin is inferior to Kevin Martin
78 puts him at as a solid starter. like a key role player on a top team or a top 3 guy on a crappy team
like if he stayed in NY. it would be Camel, Tyson Chandler then Lin. its actually pretty consistent with how the media sees Lin atm
