pryune will this Ding guy play as a starter soon?

NOP !!!

He is STILL IN HIS REHAB and has just resumed STATIC NO-CONTACT basketball training.

The regular season of G League will end March 23, and currently there is NO HOPE of the Texas Legends to make it for the playoffs that started in April.

And Ding Yanyuhang had reiterated that he does not plan to come back and rejoin the Shandong team to play in the CBA playoffs that starts in March.

So the EARLIEST POSSIBLE TIMEFRAME that we could watch Ding Yanyuhang playing should be sometimes in June/July when the CNT plays warm-up/exhibition game in preparation for the 2019 FIBA World Cup which commence end August.

Photos of Ding Yanyuhang with Steph Curry's personal trainer for 9 years, Brandon Payne of Accelerate Basketball.

Ding said when he fully recovers, he intends to take a training clinic specially tailor-made for him by Brandon Payne.

yeah, not a good sign. for comparison, Lin kept himself in great shape and disciplined weight control after battle with injuries for 2 years. Even Yao worked his butt off to keep his physical edge.

Ding doesn't seem to be taking this seriously, similarly to the other chinese ballers born with ton of talent. At least Yi Jianlian always kept himself in excellent condition, even with his low bballIQ.

Yao Ming had caused all of Ding's injuries by playing him at the Asian Games, despite the fact that the Chinese has qualified for the Asian Cup and the World Cup automatically.

But Yao Ming has refused to pay personally for Ding's medical bill. Now he is not even receiving top notch medical care in the US.

WHY YOU FVCKING CLUELESS TROLL had to blame EVERYTHING on Yao Ming ???

He is NOT the head coach who took full responsibility for picking the CNT for the Asian Game.

ALSO it's UP TO Ding Yanyuhang's FREE WILL/DECISION WHETHER
he chose to play in the Asian Games or not.

Also Ding Yanyuhang's injury on his right knee (Patellar Tendinitis) is quite INSIDIOUS, RECURRING AND LASTING. He had suffered from it for a long while, but the physicians at the Shandong team did not advise him from surgery, but just relied on conservative RICE treatment : Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation.

His conditions was ON AND OFF and therefore he had played unstopped for Shandong for the 2017/2018 season. He flew to US during the 2018 summer and was originally to play for Brooklyn Nets for the Summer League before the injury symptoms recurred. He took rest again for the Asian Games, but the injury recurred and became worst after the Asian Games, and thus costed him the chance to play for Dallas Mavericks in the 2018 China Game.

He therefore decided to throw away his RMB 5 ~ 6M contract with Shandong, and insteads signed for Texas Legends for less money , Dallas Mavericks affiliate team in G-League, as Dallas Mavericks promised to provide the best medical care there in Dallas.

And in Dallas, there are many well known/world class medical institutes for orthopedic science/surgery. The Texas Legends actually is in Frisco, the location of Baylor Medical Centre, where Ding can receive best and world class treatment.
