Why are they playing without the main players? This gives a bad reputation to the CNT. The main players need more experience anyway.

WHAT reputation for CNT who can lose to teams like India or Chinese Taipei that you're talking about ???

The purpose of such friendlies is to give the YOUNGER players MORE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EXPOSURE and NOT NECESSARILY about winning !!!

Now that the CNT needs less than half the team to trounce all these Indian or Chinese Taipei teams, what is pryuen going to say?

LOL !!!!

WHO
was THAT FVCKING IDIOOOOOOOOOOOT that kept D!$$ING Yao Ming for splitting up the national team into the Red and Blue team, and NOT sending the BEST PLAYERS (the like of Yi Jianlian, Guo Ailun, Zhou Peng, Hu Jinqiu, Wu Qian etc.) from the Blue Team to the Asian Games ???

IF NOT by Yao Ming's genius scheme of splitting the national team into 2 to give the young and potential players more chances, young players like Abudushalamu Abudurexiti who only got a few minutes of play from the bench in Xinjiang Guanghui Flying Tigers would NEVER be able to be picked and selected into the Final 12 of the national team and grew/developed/matured into the current player he is !!!

pryue this crazy, since the best players from the blue team will not be able to play, therefore the CNT will be weakened.

wahahahaha, Yao Ming, the genius, is now denying players from the blue team, like Yi Jianlian, Guo Ailun, Zhou Peng, Hu Jinqiu, and Wu Qian, from gaining the chance to play.

FVCK !!!

YOU'RE HERE TO TROLL, RIGHT ???

The Blue Team, san Yi Jianlian exempted for personal reasons, had just departed for Syria to play away against Lebanon (venue changed to Syria because of political unstability at Lebanon) on September 13 for the Second Round of 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Asian Qualifier. They will then return to China to play against Jordan on September 17 in Beijing.

It had been mentioned TIME AND TIME AGAIN that the national team was split into 2, so as to expand the selection pool for players, and to give the young players more international exposure and experience by giving them different tournament assignments, and by doing so also give players coverage and rest to prevent fatique and injury, as well as create competition between the 2 head coaches Li Nan (Red Team) and Du Feng (Blue Team) so as to pick one of them eventually for the combined Red and Blue Team for the 2019 FIBA World Cup next year.

Was it THAT DIFFICULT TO COMPREHEND for your PEA-SIZED BRAIN, IDIOOOOOOOOOOOOOT ???

As China is the host, this second round of the qualifying is meaningless as practice for the CNT blue team players. These blue team players were denied the chance to play for real during the Asian Games.

LOL !!!!

FVCKING CLUELESS IDIOOOOOOOOOOT !!!!

All those countries trying to qaulify for the 2019 FIBA World Cup are sending in their STRONGEST team. Competition is MUCH FIERCER than Asian Games, in which countries like Japan or Philippines did not send their Team A at all so as to reserve energy and be better prepared for the Asian Qualifiers for the World Cup.

Despite China has automatically qualified for next year's World Cup as host country,
the Asian Qualifiers are NOT MEANINGLESS to either Du Feng or the players of the Blue Team. It had been REPEATED TIME AND TIME AGAIN the Red and Blue Team took turns to play in various international tournaments. Regardless of which tournaments, both coaches and the players on both Red and Blue team have to GIVE THEIR ALL AND BEST SHOTS as they will be eventually evaluated per their on-court performance. If they do not do well, they could lose their positions and be dropped out in the Final 12 roster for the World Cup.

wahahahaha, pryuen was just deceived by his big idol Yao Ming. The concept of so-called red team and blue team is nothing new.

There used to be 3 CNT.
#1: the real CNT
#2: the Olympians team
#3: the youth team

With Yao Ming's deception:
#1: the blue team is actually the real CNT
#2: the red team is just the Olympians team with another name
#3: the youth team

LOL !!!!

YOU FCVKING CLUELESS IDIOOOOOOOOOOOT JUST TOO DESPERATE TO BE HUMILIATED !!!

Yao Ming did not try to DECEIVE ANYONE !!!

It's just YOU'RE TOO FVCKING CLUELESS AND DUMB to understand !!!

The Red and Blue Team are the REAL CNT !!!

Insteads of clustering 40+ players every year in closed door training and played NON STOP in warm up exhibitions/friendlies and tournaments before finalizing the Final 12 roster for major tournaments (like Asian Games, Asian Championships, Olympics), the national team was split into 2, the Red Team and Blue Team, coached by Li Nan and Du Feng, to introduce competition for the 2 coaches and the various players, as well as to give more young players international exposure and experience as well as more rest for the players by the 2 teams alternatively taking up different tournaments.

The Olympian Team is STILL THERE comprised of DIFFERENT PLAYERS, players that had exceeded the age of 19 (and therefore could not stay in the U19 national team) or players much older, but their skill level NOT YET CONSIDERED GOOD ENOUGH to be promoted to the senior national team.

The current Chinese Olympians comprised of players like Zhu Rongzhen, Taruike Jianiyou (aka Qiu Tian, that Beijing mixed blood centre), Xu Mengjun, Tian Yuxiang, Shao Yinglun, Ge Zhaobao, Yan Pengfei, Fu Hao, Lei Meng, Shi Deshuai, Arslan, Li Jiangjun etc. etc. The Olympians is coached by a DIFFERENT Head Coach....Shen Qinglong !!!

Image

The Olympians still served as a back-up pool for the senior national team, i.e. when the players in the Olympian team are good enough or there are players injured in the senior CNT, then they can then be promoted to the senior team. Alternatively, if players in the senior national team are not good enough or sidelined by injuries, they could be demoted back to the Olympian Team; examples being Tian Yuxiang promoted to Red Team to replace the injured Zhao Jiwei, Zhu Rongzhen, Fu Hao and Lei Meng relocated to the Olympians from the Red Team.

Abudushalamu Abudurexiti is still in China.

He had become an OVERNIGHT WONDER/NATIONAL HERO
after the win over Iran for the gold medal of men's basketball for China.

And he was picked as one of the Men of The Year by the GQ Magazine.

CBA had completed player registration. And both Ding Yanyuhang and Abudushalamu Abudurexiti had not completed their registration and had special permission for delayed registration.

For Ding Yanyuhang, everyone knew he is bound to join Dallas Mavericks for the training camp, and if he manages to make it to the Final 15 roster, then he possibly will stay for NBA the rest of the year, or else he will return to CBA to play for Shandong.

As for Abudushalamu Abudurexiti, his contract with Xinjiang had expired, and negotiation for contract extention had not gone smooth. There were rumors that a couple of NBA teams (Golden State Warriors, Washington Wizards and Brooklyn Nets) were impressed by his performance in the Asian Games, and contemplate to sign him to a similar training camp contract like Ding Yanyuhang.

BUT SO FAR NO DEFINITE CONFIRMATION OF WHCIH NBA TEAM.
