For the Golden State Warriors !!!!

Abudushalamu Abudurexiti did not get picked by any NBA teams in the just concluded 2018 NBA Draft.

But according to Michael Scotto, the Ugyhur youngster got invited and had agreed to play for Golden State Warriors in the Las Vegas Summer League.

He is currently in the closed door training of the National (Red) Team, and he will have to play in the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers against New Zealand and South Korea end June before joining the Golden Warriors.

GOOD LUCK AND ALL THE BEST TO THIS HARDWORKING LAD !!!

They did not lose ONE game, but lost TWICE.... the first game by 35 points, the second one by 36 points !!!

The team they played was the Canadian National Team A, and then Team B.

And the Blue Team was
WITHOUT Guo Ailun, Han Dejun, Yi Jianlian, Zhou Peng, Liu Xiaoyu, Li Gen etc......

Why are they playing without the main players? This gives a bad reputation to the CNT. The main players need more experience anyway.

WHAT reputation for CNT who can lose to teams like India or Chinese Taipei that you're talking about ???

The purpose of such friendlies is to give the YOUNGER players MORE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EXPOSURE and NOT NECESSARILY about winning !!!

After 2 double-double performance with the China National Red Team against South Korea and New Zealand in the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers, Abudushalamu Abudurexiti had arrived into Las Vegas to join the Golden State Warriors summer league team.

He was DNPed in the Warriors' previous game against Sacramento Kings to give him some slack for recovering from jetlag. He finally was given 4:47 minutes of action in the win over LA Lakers yesterday.

Abudushalamu Abudurexiti played okay in those 4:47 minutes, scored 1 point (0/1 FG% 1/2 FT%), 2 rebounds, 1 turnover and 3 fouls.

He played aggressively on both end of the court; the point he scored was from free throw, as he recieved a pass from his team mate, evaded 3 defenders but missed his layup, fought for the offensive rebound, but got fouled in the process for the free throw. He had another basket disallowed for offensive foul.

Overall NOT BAD and QUITE EFFICIENT in SUCH SHORT action minutes.

Looks like it will be DIFFICULT for Abudushalamu Abudurexiti to land a contract with Golden State Warriors.

He was given very scanty play minues in the game vs Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks, and Golden State Warriors lost both games.

He played in garbage time in both games, 4:47 minutes in the loss to Houston Rockets, and 6 minutes in the game vs Dallas Mavericks.

He was held scoreless in the game vs Houston Rockets, only grabbing 2 rebounds and 1 block shot.

He did pretty well in the game vs Dallas Mavericks, scoring 2 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal in 6 minutes of action.
