For the playoff, the match ups will be:

  1. Guangdong Dongguan Bank Hongyuan Tigers vs Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank
  2. Shandong Kingston Lions vs Dongguan New Century Leopards
  3. Beijing Jinyu Capital Steel Ducks vs Zhejiang Guangsha Lions
  4. Xinjiang Guanghui Flying Tigers vs Liaoning Jiebao
It will be in Best of 5 format (1-2-1-1) with the Top 4 teams having home court advantage.

The winner of 1 will play with the winner of 4 in the semi final, while the winner of 2 will play with the winner of 3 in the other semi final.

It was reported that Wang was to be invited to participate in the McDonalds' championships in Portland in April. The last time he was there he got 19/9, the best stats amongst all prior Chinese participants.

NAAAAAAAAAAAAH, don't think it's the McDonald's Championship.

McDonald's Championship had been discontinued since 1999.

Even if it is still running, it is an international men's basketball cup competition played between the champions of the continental club competitions and an NBA invitee.

It's the 2013 Nike Hoop Summit which will be held in Portland on April 20th !!!

Wang Zhelin
maybe invited
again for this year's Nike Hoop Summit, after his brilliant 19 points/8 rebounds performance last year. (it's 8 rebounds and NOT 9 rebounds)

It was first disclosed by Jonathan Givony, the site administrator/owner of Draft Express, in his Twitter.

Rumored Hoop Summit invites except Jaiteh, Jean-Charles, Ivanovic: Andrew Wiggins, Mario Hezonja, Dennis Schroeder, Dante Exum, Wang Zhelin.

The following video is for that YMM douchebag aka Dr. Moranus who NEVER watched Wang Zhelin played but kept on insisting FOOLISHLY that he is slow-footed with ZERO verical leap and playing with both feet nailed to the floor.

http://www.oregonlive.com/hoop-summit/i ... locks.html

It was sort of
a manifest of Wang Zhelin's athletism and court awareness/sense when he erased a pair of shots on one possession during the first half of the 2012 Nike Hoop Summit. He first blocked a dunk attempt by Team USA guard Gary Harris, and then followed up by a block on USA guard Rasheed Sulaimon moments later.

It was Wang Zhelin's defense (despite still has alot of room to improve) helped lead the World Select Team to a 52-34 first-half lead over Team USA, and set the tune for the World Select Team's eventual victory.

Geeeeeeez, those bureaucrats at the top of CBA are becoming laughing stocks of the fans !!!

They just announced 3 candidates each for MVP of the 2012 ~ 13 season, 3 for local MVP, and 3 for expat MVP.

Image

The 3 candidates for local MVP are

  • Yi Jianlian (Guangdong Dongguan Bank Hongyuan Tigers)
  • Ji Zhe (Beijing Jinyu Capital Steel Ducks)
  • Zhu Fangyu (Guangdong Dongguan Bank Hongyuan Tigers)
The 3 candidates for expat MVP are

  • Stephon Marbury (Beijing Jinyu Capital Steel Ducks)
  • Zaid Abbas (Shandong Kingston)
  • Pooh Jeter (Shandong Kingston)
It seemed they just think with their @$$.

Ji Zhe and Zhu Fangyu as candidates for local MVP???

They might just thrust the MVP award
STRAIGHT into the hands of Yi Jianlian.

Both Ji Zhe and Zhu Fangyu SUX in this season !!!

Wang Zhelin, Han Shou, Li Xiaoxu are all better candidates than Ji Zhe and Zhu Fang Yu.

Well....REALLY DON'T KNOW what those BLOCKHEADS think.

Maybe they just restricted the MVP candidates to just the top 3 teams in the league.

That would be the ONLY explanation WHY Ji Zhe and Zhu Fangyu are in the list in first place.

Those bureaucrats are sleeping with Zhu Fangyu's wife and Ji Zhe's sister.
