[size=117]Well, after their morale-sapping defeats at home of the lowly Sacramento Kings, and then a cruel loss to the New Orleans Hornets after a 17-point lead in 1Q, the door to the playoff is FINALLY closed on the Houston Rockets, as Memphis Grizzlies clinched the last spot of playoff of Western Conference today by beating the Sacramento Kings.

So all is left for the Rockets is to fight for PRIDE and try to win the remaining games to finish this season BETTER than the last season.

And I hope the Rockets will heed to what Rick Adelman said:

1H ended. 53 ~ 37. 16 points lead by the Rockets.

Rick Adelman chose to rest Kyle Lowry for this game, and started Goran Dragic for this game, and deployed Courtney Lee as the back-up point guard.

Goran Dragic played pretty well as the starting point guard, organizing the offense quite well. He scored 7 points/6 rebounds/3 assists so far.

The Rockets also played well in defense so far, limiting the Clippers to shoot at only a low 32% FG%. The Rockets also out-rebounded and out-assisted the Clippers.

Looks like LA Clippers will need a MIRACLE to come from behind for a win!!!

3Q ended. 74 ~ 55. TOO BIG A HOLE to climb out of.

99 ~ 78 EASY WIN for the Rockets.

So AT LEAST the SAME W/L ratio as last season EVEN IF
the Rockets are going to lose their next 2 games.

6 players in double-digits.

Goran Dragic proved he is a good addition to the team, 14 points/10 rebounds/7 assists.

Chuck Hayes also got a double-double of 12 points/13 rebounds/5 assists/3 steals, and limited Blake Griffin to have a lousy 6/18 FG% for 13 points/10 rebounds/4 assists performance only.

Kevin Martin: 16 points/5 rebounds/5 assists; Chase Budinger: 16 points/9 rebounds/4 assists; Brad Miller: 16 points/5 rebounds/5 assists; Courtney Lee: 10 points/5 rebounds/2 assists.
