So with the win of Memphis Grizzlies over Minnesota Timberwolves, the Grizzlies had surpassed New Orleans Hornets and climbed up to #7 in Western Conference with 44W 33L, 0.5 game ahead of New Orleans Hornets who is at 43W 33L, while Houston Rockets is still stranded at #9, 3 games away from Hornets and 3.5 games away from Grizzlies with 6 games to go.

It now loooks like given the easy schedule of the Grizzlies, they are very likely to continue their surge up for either #6 or #7. So the hope now is whether the Rockets can catch up with the Hornets but the thing is they need to edge out the Hornets, cos the Hornets enjoyed a series tie-breaker over them.

Before they could do that, the Rockets must ensure they beat every team they will play in the remaining 6 games.

And first they will have to beat the hot in-form Atlanta Hawks, which is enjoying a winning streak of 4.

This is a MUST-WIN for the Rockets, but it is not going to be an easy one.

Atlanta Hawks had recently improved significantly over their defense; they had only allowed their opponents averaging 83.8 points and hitting 42.6 percent in their current winning streak.

That's pretty impressive, considering the Hawks were giving up close to 99 points during the first 3 weeks of March.

There is gonna be NO MARGIN FOR ERROR, and if the Rockets lose this game, they might as well kiss this year's playoff goodbye.

SO GO GO GO ROCKETS !!!! GO FOR THE WIN OR ELSE THE PREVIOUS VICTORY OVER SAN ANTONIO SPURS WOULD BECOME MEANINGLESS !!!

1Q ended. 23 ~ 21 Atlanta Hawks leading.

The Hawks is really tough and giving the Rockets all sorts of fits.
Even though the Rockets carved out a 6 point lead (19 ~ 13) by the 3:30 minute mark, the Hawks had a 10 ~ 2 run to finish 1Q leading.

The Rockets' play turned bad to worse.

The offense was stagnant due to the tough defense of the Hawks, while their offense was porous.

The Hawks now stretched the lead to double digits.... 57 ~ 45.

In the other game, New Orleans Hornets is leading Indiana Pacers 57 ~ 44 by half time. Looks like it will be an easy win for the Hornets.

If the Rockets lost this game to the Hawks, they're gonna to kiss this playoff goodbye,
cos they will be 4 games apart from both Hornets and Grizzlies with only 5 games left.

3Q ended. 76 ~ 71. Rockets led by 5 points.

A great turnaround effort from the Rockets in 3Q.
Falling behind by 9 points in 1H, they had a 14 -points turnaround in 3Q to carve out a 5-point lead.

Hope they continue their current momentum, and win this game.
