So crashed back to 0.50 (33W 33L) with an away loss in the hand of Phoenix Sun, Houston Rockets will start one of their longest home stand of 6 games at Toyota Centre. Their first opponent is against the league-best San Antonio Spurs.

It's not known yet whether Luis Scola will be fit to play in this crucial game. He missed team practice Friday for the second consecutive day, and is a game-time decision.

Houston Rockets had been doing pretty well since early February, maintaining a 68.75 winning ratio (winning 11 out of 16 games), but still stranded as bottom team of the Southwest Division, and 11th in the Western Conference.

The margin of error is getting smaller and smaller. On top of trying to win every of the future 16 games, they have also to pray that teams like Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Sun and Utah Jazz will slip in order for the Rockets to have a chance to sneak into the Final 8.

This will be the 3rd time the 2 teams meet with San Antonio Spurs leading the series 2 ~ 0.

The key to win for the Rockets is whether they could curb and contain the 2 daggers of San Antonio Spurs: Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker, with the former averaging 25 points, and the latter, 19 points/9.5 assists in the 2 games they played against the Rockets.

So the final push for the playoff starts. GO GO GO ROCKETS !!! GO FOR A WIN !!!

1Q ended. San Antonio Spurs ALREADY leading in double digits. 36 ~ 25.

Luis Scola missed his 2nd consecutive game due to problem with his left knee. Jordan Hill took his starting position.

The starters were playing pretty bad with
NO DEFENSE , letting the Spurs scored at above 60% FG%.

Let's see if the Rockets can climb out of the BIG HOLE they dug for themselves in 2Q.

Mid 3Q. 70 ~ 67, 3-point game.

The Rockets had been doing a chasing game throughout 2Q and 3Q.

Their 2nd tier players played
MUCH BETTER with defense and managed to reduce the FG% of the Spurs by 10% percentage point, reduced the deficits to 5 points at one time, just to have the starters wasted their effort. 1H ended with the Spurs still leading by 10 points: 59 ~ 49.
