So 2010 is coming to an end (Actually it is 2011 already in this part of the world).

After a loss to Miami Heat, the Houston Rockets will play the last game of 2010 in Toyota Centre against a visiting Toronto Raptors.

This will be the second time they play this eason. Toronto Raptors won 106 ~ 96 last tiime the Rockets visited Toronto on November 19.

So Toronto Raptors will be looking for their first clean sweep of Houston Rockets ever since 2005 ~ 06 season.

After the loss to Miami Heat, Houston Rockets had another severe set-back when they lost their captain Chuck Hayes through an injury during the team practice on December 30. Chuck Hayes will have to go through MRI/X-Ray to determine how serious the injury was, but tentatively, he will definitely be out of this game with Toronto Raptors.

This will have an adverse effect on Houston Rockets defense,
as despite his height, Chuck Hayes is one of the best defensive anchors in the interior for the Rockets.

Luckily, Toronto Raptors is even worst than the Houston Rockets in terms of injuries; they are also severely hit by the injury bug. Almost half of the team's regularsare either rehabilitating from injury, or are on day-to-day or game-time decision. Jerryd Bayless hurt his ankle last game, and Jose Calderon is also day-to-day after injuring his left ankle the previous game. Andrea Bargnani is out with strained calf; Reggie Evans also out with fractured foot; both Sonny Weems and Peja Stojakovic are suffering from back spasms and swollen knee respectively.

Bargnani, Evans and Stojakovic did not join the team on its three-game road trip; Weems, Calderon and Bayless are all day-to-day, while Amir Johnson (back spasms) and Leandro Barbosa (bruised knee) are game-time decisions.

So it gave Houston Rockets their biggest chance for a sweet revenge on home court on the last day of 2010 to finish the year a 0.5 team.

GO GO GO ROCKETS FOR THE WIN !!!!
:P :P :P

Geeeeeeeeeeez, 1Q ended. the severely undermanned Toronto Raptors leading 34 ~ 20.

The Hosuton Rockets SUXS in 1Q.
They shot a low 31 FG% while the Raptors shot at 54 FG%. They were completely out-rebounded and out-manuevered by the Raptors.

Wonder whether they could climb out of such a BIG HOLE in the rest of the game.

Okay, the Rockets played MUCH BETTER in the early 2Q.

In 4 minutes of play in 2Q, they erased most of the 14-point hole, and now ONLY 5 points behind. 36 ~ 41.

1H ended. 62 ~ 55 !!!

GREAT
comeback from the Rockets in 2Q, climbing out a 14-point BIG HOLE.

42 point production !!! Must be the HIGHEST
point production of the season in a single quarter !!!

The bench players all played well in 2Q. Chase Budinger contributed 13 points; Brad Miller contributed 8 points/3 assists; Courtney Lee: 7 points/2 assists; Patrick Patterson: 7 points/6 rebounds; Aaron Books even though held to be scoreless just focused on organizing offense with 4 assists.

A 21-point turnaround !!! Amazing !!!

Hope they continue the momentum in second half and thrash the Raptors for a win !!!
